3 of my favourite way to ensure healthy glowing skin

No amount of make-up will guarantee healthy skin, the best way to achieve a healthy glow is to take care of your skin. There really is no excuse for bad skin, not when you have a kitchen cupboard full of beauty potential.

Here are 3 of my favourite ways to maintain a healthy natural glow.

Honey and Lemon for brighter skin, apply the mixture with fingers and keep it on skin for 5minutes then wipe off with a flannel cloth and warm water

• Antibacterial properties, making it a great option for acne-prone skin
• A natural moisturizer and helps to soothes skin for a natural sun-kissed glow
• Honey is also rich in antioxidants, which can help diminish the look of age spots

Benefits of Lemon

The natural AHA in lemons are natural exfoliators, the acids in lemons removes dead skin cells and evens out skin tone. It also is a natural way to diminish oil, freckles, and blackheads.


Lemon & honey sugar scrub

A teaspoon of brown or fine white sugar and a teaspoon honey and lemon juice mix together

Please note: Do not apply scrub under the eye area, only forehead, nose and cheeks.


Helps to get rid of dead skin cells. Exfoliating is important not only for your complexion but the rest of your body as well. Your skin cannot absorb creams and lotions if it has a layer of dead skin cells hanging around. Exfoliate at least 2-3 times a week.

How: Wet your face, and exfoliate very gently, in a circular motion using your fingertips for about 2-3 minutes and rinse off with warm water

I love this little brush, I used it on my skin when I was in Secondary school and loved it. I remember that then it was by Avon, I stopped using it because it went of the market that it is back now.

This one I bought in Primark (Penny's)

It exfoliates, deep cleanse, and removes dirt, oil and make-up. It is easy to use, just wet face, place face wash on the brush and clean skin with circular motion and rinse with warm water. Leaving skin soft and glowing.

Add to all of this a daily intake of H2O and viola naturally healthy glowing skin!!!
