She has reinvented herself extraordinarily in her movie roles, starring opposite Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Richard Gere and Robin Williams (to name just some!) as well as concentrating on her role as a mother to her three adorable children.
To top off all of Roberts achievements, she is now the face of the Givenchy Spring/Summer 2015 campaign, an unusual choice for the trendy fashion house but nevertheless a good one. Dressed in masculine, tailored suits and delicate black blouses, Roberts looks stunning in the monochrome photographs, shot by fashion favourites' Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Roberts looks powerfully at the camera with minimal make-up and undone tousled hair which looks effortlessly chic, adding to the Givenchy aesthetic; slightly grungy but with a certain Parisian flair.
With it reported that Roberts received a six figure sum for her modelling work, these immaculate photo's are well worth the cash. Ricardo Tisci, the creative director of Givenchy has admitted his surprise and excitement that Roberts accepted the luxury brands proposal to model for them, exclusively telling The Guardian, 'I liked that she is one of the biggest stars in the world but you don't see her in fashion imagery.' And with luxury sales looking set to rise in 2015 and over the Christmas period, Julia Roberts presence at Givenchy will surely only boost their sales even further.
