Thursday saw the world's top models jet into Cannes to attend the festivals most glamorous event - the famous charity fashion show. This year's event - in celebration of the 20th anniversary of amfAR's annual Cinema Against AIDS Gala - was bigger and more theatrical than ever.
Last year's spectacular featured an all-black array of fashion, and in stark contrast this year's theme was glittering gold creations, inspired by amfAR's late founding international chairman, the glamorous and legendary Elizabeth Taylor. Top designers from all over the world were enlisted to design one off pieces for the show including Tom Ford, Burberry, Prada, Christian Dior, Lanvin, Marchesa, Alexander Wang and Versace. And who better to rock these on the catwalk than the world's top models including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Karlie Kloss, Alessandra Ambrosio, Joan Smalls, Liberty Ross and Karolina Kurkova .
Here are my pick of the top fashion moments from the amfAR gala.
Karolina Kurkova flaunted her amazing figure in a Roberto Cavalli black gown with cut-away panels and Bulgari jewellery. She kept her hair simple in a pulled back style which gives the dress full impact.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley arrived in an ivory strapless dress by Dior and accessorised with Christian Louboutin white heels. This dress goes perfectly with Rosie's golden skin and the smoky eyes and rose lip finish the look off perfectly.
Olivia Palermo showed her wild side in a Roberto Cavalli leopard-print asymmetric gown with thigh-high slit and Sergio Rosso sandals. Her loose side plait complements the look perfectly.
Milla Jovovich wore a Valentino Couture spring/summer 2013 ruffled gown and carried a Jimmy Choo clutch. The relaxed updo complements the dress beautifully.
Lily Donaldson wore a bold red Emilio Pucci tunic gown. This dress is elegant, sexy and suits her tall, statuesque figure. I am glad she chose relaxed hair and no jewellery to let the dress shine.
Karlie Kloss chose to be different and wore slim black trousers and an open jacket by Louis Vuitton. This really suits her and made her stand out in all the right ways.
Joan Smalls arrived in this unique dress from the Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci autumn/winter 2013-14 collection. With its sheer bottom half this dress shows off Joan's amazing legs and she pulls it off with perfection.
Jessica Chastain showed that redheads can definitely rock a red dress in this asymmetric gown by Saint Laurent and Bulgari jewellery. The combination of the deep red dress, her loose auburn tumbling waves and beautiful fair skin is so flattering making her look youthful and radiant.
Angela Lindvall arrived in a black lace gown with sheer detailing from the Alberta Ferretti autumn/winter 2013-14 collection. I love her cuff bracelets and relaxed updo.
Alessandra Ambrosio looked like a goddess in a Zuhair Murad nude chiffon full-length gown with plunging neckline and beaded detailing and Jimmy Choo clutch. The shimmering nude looks amazing against her golden skin-tone.
Chanel Iman was a vision in white in a full-length gown with fishtail silhouette and Chopard jewellery. The structured shoulders balance out the fishtail perfectly.
Izabel Goulart in Versace and Eddie Borgo.
Alessandra Ambrosio in Tom Ford.
Isabeli Fontana in Missoni and Pamela Love.
