Fashions Finest London Fashion Week season two off Schedule shows kicked off at the beautiful Westbury Hotel in the heart of Mayfair and what a show it was with 11 designers showcasing over the two shows on the day.
Designers came from as far afield as Angola, America, Ghana, Nigeria as well as featuring some of the UK's most promising and uprising designers; and MINK makeup agency and makeup school provided all of the makeup seen on the catwalk at this year's event.

The hair and makeup brief for day one of the show was fun and flirty and the Makeup team, headed by Funmi O of MINK, decided to go for luminous dewy skin with fun Aqua eyes to go with the asymmetric and fun fringes applied by Hair by Clara. To recreate this look at home please follow the steps below:

Makeup look: Aqua Eyes

Step 1. Cleanse, tone and moisturise the skin or use a primer.

Step 2. Apply a liquid foundation for a sheer coverage, then set with a translucent powder.

Step 3. Lightly contour the cheeks and hairline using a darker powder.

Step 4. Apply a blush then add gold shimmer powder as an extra highlight to the top of the cheekbones.

Step 5. Using a medium brush, apply a mahogany eye shadow to the whole eyelid, just below the brow bone. Mahogany is one of the best eye shadows you can use as it will go with all eye colours and skin tones.

Step 6. Apply an aqua-green eye pencil (some makeup artists went with turquoise or blue) in the inner rim of the eye. Always remember this will fade as a result of blinking, so reload it.

Step 7. Use a thin brush, apply a teal-blue pigment all around the edge of the eye. A good tip is to wet the brush to make the colour intense and to keep it from running.

Step 8. Apply a heavy strip false eye lash to create high-impact lashes. False lashes are like shows – they either fit or they don't! if they don't fit correctly, they are uncomfortable, they can fall off or worse, they will look fake when you don't want them to.

Step 9. Finish the look by applying a nude/brown lip liner and a nude lip colour. Also try shades of pink and coral for a more girly look.

Day two gala took place at Jewel Piccadilly and featured new & emerging designers. The hair and makeup brief for day two was chic sophistication, so the MINK makeup team went for a classic red lip, cat-like eyes and a black mole a' la Marilyn Monroe to go with the sophisticated up-dos.

Makeup Look: Cat-Like eyes and Red lips

Step 1. Cleanse, tone and moisturise the skin or use a primer.

Step 2. Apply a cream foundation for full coverage, then set with a translucent powder.
Step 3. Heavily contour the cheeks and hairline using a darker powder

Step 4. For eyes, image a line from the corner of your nose to the outer corner of your eye that continues to your temple. Your eyeliner needs to follow this angle. Apply sticky tape as a stencil on that angle. Using a small angled brush, apply black liquid or gel liner along your lash line, flicking up onto the tape.

Step 5. Wait for the liner to dry, then carefully peel off the tape. Curl lashes and apply lots of mascara to the top lashes only; make sure the mascara is applied all the way to the bed of the lashes.

Step 6. Apply false lashes to the top eyelid.

Step 7. Line the lips with a red lip liner in the same shade as the lipstick.

Step 8. Apply red lipstick and top up with clear gloss

Step 9. Using liquid liner or a pencil, draw on the beauty spot.
