Working out is no longer just for New Years resolutions but it is actually a lifelong commitment. With everyone around me doing their best to keep their bodies in shape I knew I had to do the same thing.
I find it hard to stick to training routine unless I write things down and have a guide. I like to remember what I did a few days/weeks before. (My memory is not what it used to be). To keep track of my progress I have been using the LOG IT or LOSE IT GYM DIARY WORKOUT LOG BOOK. I was gifted with three books to try, a little and large gym diary workout log book and a training and nutrition log book. I carry the little log book around with me at all times as it is small enough to fit in my handbag.
What I love about these diaries is that they can be used along side your gym routine even if you have a personal trainer, they are great if you need to keep motivated as you can look back at your fitness journey and see how far you have come. I am using mine to see how much weight I can lose before I go to Ibiza in September.
Each diary comes in a ring binder that has a durable plastic cover and contains workouts with dates, exercises, weights, reps, cardio, time and a notes section. There is even a section for logging your measurements from starting weight, body fat, neck, chest, upper arms, forearms, waist, thighs, and calves.
The nutrition log allows you to chart your meals, calories, carbs, fat and protein, this way you can look back and see what foods if any you may need to cut out of your diet.
