Union Dance in collaboration with Muntu Arts launches Reflection Route - The Legacy of Nelson Mandela on the 6th of July 2018 with a vibrant summer soirée at the Arch 29 – the Africa Centre’s new contemporary arts event space.

2018 marks the centenary of the birth of Nelson Mandela. To celebrate his legacy, a series of events, presented in collaboration with Union Dance and Muntu Arts, explores the theme of inspired leadership in the 21st century.

Reflection Route features an original Contemporary Afro dance performance by choreographer Sarita Piotrowski. Set to a hypnotic South African soundtrack, Sarita and Afro dance specialist Ofelia Omoyele Balogun will perform alongside South African poet Leeto Thale to honour Madiba through unique and dynamic presentations.
