1 Remove all trace of nail polish with a cotton wool soaked in nail remover.

2 Fill a small bowl with warm water. Leave your hands to soak for 5 minutes or until
your fingers get wrinkly!

3 Cut and/or file your nail into your preferred shape, round, square or oval. Only
file in one direction. Do not saw your nails or else your will make them weak in the long run.

4 Apply cuticle oil, a drop on each finger, then massage it in.

5 I don't recommend cutting cuticles as this may cause an infection or whitlow push them back with a cuticle stick.

6 Take your favourite lotion and rub it into your hands.

7 Then use a cotton bud and rub away the lotions residue from your nails. This will make your nails ready for colour.

8 Apply a basecoat .This will provide a protective barrier for your nails, so that they will not get discoloured from the nail polish.

9 Apply your favourite polish. There are some great colours on the market at the moment. Barry M is my number one choice for nail polish, they have a huge range of colours and affordable. Apply your nail polish this in three strokes,1 down the middle and 2 on each side.2 coats should ensure that you have a good coverage.

10 Apply a top coat this will make your nail polish longer and create a shine.

Make your hands dazzle with some rings that are loaded with gems.
