Myself along with some other fashion writers and bloggers were invited down to the AOFM (or Academy of Freelance Make-up) studios take a look around and learn a bit more about what AOFM does.

Founded five years ago by Jana Ririnui and Jason Mallet with the intention to create make-up artists with not only the talent to succeed, but with the essential wisdom, knowledge and experience of the realities of being a make-up artist in the world of fashion.

The AOFM has grown from a single studio in Soho to not only having a presence at every major fashion event such as the London and New York Fashion Weeks, Vauxhall Scout and Clothes Show Live there are now AOFM make-up schools in Paris and New York.

As well as offering in-depth short courses and guidance for the future Make-up artists of the Fashion, Beauty and Bridal industry and professional way to behave on a job. Students can also benefit with the chance to experience backstage life and make contacts with other professionals in the field by working at beneficial fashion shows and photo shoots.

With great opportunities that many schools would never be able to offer, the AOFM is a great place to learn a new craft and develop your dreams into a reality.
