Who are the women behind H&M's latest supermodel inspired collection?

The amazing new H&M collection has been getting much publicity thanks to its ad campaign staring four of the world's most up and coming supermodels. Titled "The New Icons", the collection which is available in stores now captures the style of the off duty model. The effortless but highly stylish look a model would wear while running from casting to casting and show to show, comfortable and practical yet always photo ready.

Now we can create our own off duty look with key pieces like leather jackets, embellished vests, fringed bags, wide-brimmed hats and knee high boots. These pieces along with casual basics make up a great collection which I think is going to be one of H & M's most popular yet.

So if you are looking to get the model off duty look which has become so popular, at an affordable price, this collection is definitely for you.

So who are these four top models who provided the inspiration – and star in this new collection? If they are half as cool and stylish as the clothes they have inspired then I definitely want to know more about them.

Joan Smalls

This exotic beauty comes from Puerto Rico and was ranked the #1 model in the world since 2012 according to Since signing to Elite Models in 2007 she has been in high demand and appeared in campaigns and shows for the world's top designers including Gucci, Givenchy, Roberto Cavalli, Chanel, Versace and Stella McCartney and graced the front covers of many top fashion magazines including Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar. Victoria's Secret snapped her up to walk in their 2011 and 2012 shows cementing her status as one of the world's sexiest models. Joan is also a global beauty ambassador for Estee Lauder and became the first Latina face of the company in 2011.

Daphne Groeneveld

A huge name in the modelling world at only 16 Daphne Groeneveld is definitely one to watch. After just a year of modelling she has appeared on the cover of countless magazines including Vogue Paris, walked in the Valentino, Chanel and Dior Haute Couture shows in Paris and received dancing lessons from Madonna for her appearance in a Miu Miu campaign video. Daphne is also the face of the Dior Addict Gloss Dior Spring 2013 campaign.

Lindsey Wixson

Next in this international line up is American Lindsey Wixson. Her career began at the early age of 15 when she was hand selected by photographer Steven Meisel for a Vogue Italia shoot. The fashion world was captured by her unique look, with bee stung lips and a gap in her teeth she was a completely new look for the fashion world. She has starred in campaigns for designers including Mulberry, Alexander McQueen, Zac Posen and Gaultier as well as fronting a Chanel make up collection and Versace and Jill Stuart fragrances.

Liu Wen

Lui Wen is from Yongzhou in China. She began her modelling career in 2005 after appearing in a modelling contest. Despite not winning she soon appeared on the cover of Chinese FHM and was featured in Vogue China and Harper's Bazaar. She soon attracted international designers and has appeared in numerous campaigns including Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar de la Renta, Alexander Wang and DKNY Jeans. In 2009 she became the first Chinese woman to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and has walked every year since. Liu is one of the most sought after models in the world, in spring 2010 she walked in 70 shows during Paris, New York and Milan Fashion week which made her the second most booked model that season. Estee Lauder made her a representative in 2010, the first Asian face of the company.
