’s hugely anticipated summer festival collection has been pretty hush so I was delighted when it was finally launched on Thursday. The campaign stars the beautiful Kate Bosworth and the accompanying pictures and short film called “The Road to Coachella,” were shot by her fiancé, Michael Polish. The images capture the actress out in the wilderness in summer dresses and delicate flower headdresses amongst more of her handpicked favourites from the new collection. The video below features some great music and the soundtrack featuring Neko Case, is available to download on iTunes and Shazam.

Kate looks amazing as always, she exudes her personal boho chic style and shows us how to put together pieces from the collection perfectly.  You might recognize some of the pieces, last month at Coachella Kate was spotted in some Topshop ensembles and it turns out they were none other than pieces from her new collaboration with the high street brand.  A clever idea and proof the line will be a huge success as she was all over the best dressed lists.

Kate Phelan, Topshop’s creative director explained how the collaboration came together: "Kate [Bosworth] and I were discussing the summer trends and how she had been one of our inspirations, she was here working with us on our Christmas project. The next day, Kate came in with all these incredible images and references and shared what her ultimate festival outfits looked like. It is an organic extension of Kate’s fashion sense aligned with the Topshop brand."

Other exciting news from Topshop is the announcement that they are to host secret pop-up gigs all over the world. If like me you are dying to attend, you can obtain tickets through randomly distributed invites to customers shopping on mobiles, tablets and in stores globally. There are also a series of online competitions so keep your eyes open, it will definitely be worth it.
