Stage 4 is all about the creation of the piece. Jake who I am sure you all remember hearing about in stages 1,2 & 3 but if you do not I will refresh your memory. Jake is the wonderful gentlemen who wanted to find the perfect ring for his future wife.

After Jake made the decision on what he thought to be the perfect diamond, the people at Bond could now create the piece exactly how Jake had designed it. It would be the exact image.

Bond utilise’s various techniques in their manufacturing. They ensure that the highest quality and precision standards are upheld. Where some pieces are created entirely by hand others are created utilising CAD 3D mouldings and sometimes a mixture of both, these are worked and crafted by Bond’s expert craftsmen.

Jake’s ring will be created against a CAD 3D rendering with a wax mould which will be created initially to ensure perfection. This is then created in platinum before diamonds set in the piece and all finishing and polishing is then carried out.

I promised you that I would be back with more information on Jake and creating the perfect engagement ring for his future wife and this is the next instalment. We are now onto the second stage with Bond Jewellery and Diamonds. As Jake has now clearly explained to Jamie exactly what piece and style he likes, the process is able to move on. Stage two is where Jamie and the other employees at Bond Jewellery and Diamonds get together and begin to develop the perfect design for Jakes beautiful fiancé. This process involves sketches and computer-aided design.

Jamie is knowledgeable and keeps up to date with all the up and coming trends on the market so that his customers will never be disappointed with their designs. All the while Jamie keeps in constant contact with Jake sending him their ideas via meetings and emails. This gives the client full control in creating the perfect piece for their partner. Keeping the client involved is important as this is their way of expressing their love to another. Everything about the whole process must be perfect.

After a design has been decided on Jake will move on to selecting the right diamond or diamonds.
