Planning any sort of an event is in no way an easy task. It requires a lot of logistics and creativity, as well as researching to find the perfect venue, music, and much more. However, when it comes to fashion events, there are even more factors that you need to take into account – luxury, uniqueness and ultimately, the high-quality fashion. Do Your Reseach

Research should be your first step in planning this sort of an event. Learn more about the history of the brand and the vision behind it. This is important because the goal of organizing a fashion event is to promote the brand and to strengthen the brand identity. Talk to the designers and the creative people involved with the fashion brand in order to find out what their style is and what they would like the event to be like. In addition, by knowing what the specific style associated with this fashion client is, you will know how to add that touch of luxury and uniqueness, something that the guests will see as different from all other events of this type and something that they will recognize as particular to this brand.

This could be, for example, a characteristic venue. Universal Studios served as a fashion runway for the last Moschino collection, as the brilliant Jeremy Scott took his inspiration for this collection from horror movies and shows.

Set Financial Boundaries

This is another important step that should be tackled early in the process of organizing. Set up a meeting with the client and decide on the budget. This will prevent any financial trouble that could happen in the future, as no one wants to find themselves in a situation where they have insufficient funds. Explain to your client how much the venue, the music, the food, and everything else that they want and which you have potentially planned, will cost. Try to compromise on the budget so that the client is happy, but the quality and the luxury of the event still remain high. Knowing what the budget is will also help you decide how much to spend on your next step, which is advertising.

Promote The Event

It does not matter how amazing the fashion event is, it will be irrelevant if the proper people do not know about it. Get the people in the fashion industry talking by announcing the event on social media. You can also give out little snippets such as who will be the music performers, and possibly start a relevant hashtag on Instagram. You may want to hire a marketing team or a social media expert and a graphic designer. The social media manager will make sure that the potential of social networks is used to its fullest for the advertisement of the fashion event, and a graphic designer can work with the client to create distinguishing posters for promotion, as well as intriguing invitations that you will send out to the

Work With Professionals

We have already mentioned hiring marketing experts, but to successfully plan a fashion event, you will have to work with other professionals. Hair and makeup artists, a sound designer and an expert who will create unique lighting for the chosen venue are just some of the people that are essential for the organization of this event. In addition, do not forget about food and drinks and opt for highly professional catering companies which can provide a customized menu for this glamorous event. Lastly, think about the details such as flowers (if you decide to go with a floral setting) and make sure to hire a top-notch florist company.

Make A Guest List

The last step is to decide who will be invited to this event. Consult with the client and find who the people that they would love to see at the event are. Also, make sure to include relevant people, such as magazine editors, fashion influencers and celebrities. Then make a seating chart and don’t forget to leave room for the photographers and camera crews.
