Of course, simply creating a Facebook and Instagram profile for your brand is a great step, but there’s a lot more effort involved in actually making a successful marketing campaign and reaching your target audience.

It’s pointless to post on Instagram without using hashtags. With each post, you want to make sure you put all the relevant hashtags in the description box, and do try to pick the hashtags that are currently trending.

There are several programs that can help you check which hashtags are currently trending, with some of the most famous being BrandMentions and Brand24. These are social media monitoring tools that help you discover trending topics for any keyword that you type in, so use them to figure out which hashtags to include in your Instagram posts.

You do however need be careful not to overstuff your post with irrelevant hashtags. It might be tempting to put every trending word in there, but using too many hashtags and using hashtags that are unrelated to your actual post will lead Instagram to mark you as a spammer and you may even get banned you if you aren’t careful.

The best way to showcase your new collection is through event promotion. You can organize a big sale on your website, give out special coupons, or let people know about any fashion shows that might feature your new collection. But how do you make these kinds of posts stand out on your social media? The answer is - with a lot of visual content. Create sliders with photos of models wearing the new collection, and include photos with relevant info about when the collection is launching. You really don’t need any special skills to do this. If you have a good slideshow app and enough photos of your fashion garments you can make these types of posts in practically ten minutes, and then share them all over social media.

Along with cool new garments, why not give your potential customers some free fashion advice? This way, you get to show off your new collection by giving people ideas how they can wear different pieces from it, and this can inspire them to go to the store and buy them. Not only that, you’re engaging your audience – by giving advice away for free, you’re giving them something of value. They’ll be more likely to trust your brand and want to buy from it.

Organize A Giveaway

Giveaways are a great way to get more people to see your fashion collection and to like and follow you on social media. When you organize the event, let people know that there will be several lucky winners who can win a piece from the new collection, and that you will draw them at random. This way, you’ll increase traffic to your page and reward your followers with something special that will make them want to keep coming back to your brand.

You don’t have to work with big influencers either – micro-influencers might have small followings, but their audiences tend to be very engaged and trusting of whatever the influencer tells them. If you want to establish a good relationship with an influencer, send them the garments from your collection. If they end up liking them, they’re likely to showcase them on their YouTube channel or social media profile, which is a huge advertisement for you.

Keep your audiences engaged by posting frequently, and get them excited about your new collection by offering special promotions, giveaways, or coupons. Work with influencers to spread the word about the launch, and create interesting content that your potential customers can enjoy.
