How To: Negative Space Nails
I'm very excited to bring you the step by steps for one of the nail art looks I created for this season at our recent Fashions Finest LFW event.
Nails are the finishing touches to every outfit. They are one of the most important details to a Photoshoot. Every model or client that comes to see me for any type Photoshoot I make sure the nails reflect the final look.
I compare them to a girls’ handbag or her heels. They can make an everyday casual enable look perfectly polished in every way.
Here is one of the main nail art designs I created for Fashions Finest for the season. 2017 is all about being positive, only have negativity on your nails!
They are so easy to recreate. This look is all about a simple bold black smile line and a wavy half-moon that looks like a cat eye. Imagine your half-moon is an eye and draw in a distinctive flick. You can add any colour you wish and it will look bang up to date!

Nail Trends 2017
If your resolution for 2017 is to try something new, we got just the thing for you! Inspired by the catwalks the hottest nail trends for you to try is here. Come on you know you want to, try it and let your hands do the talking.
Black is back!
Simple and chic, black is back, dark nails was spotted all over the catwalk, as seen on Aalto S/S catwalk. This look can easily be recreated, by applying a dark pigmented polish all over the nails such as SensatioNail’s Midnight Rendezvous or alternatively you can try another dark shade such as SensatioNail’s Black Plum with a tint of purple. Perfect for day and night with its edgy gothic twist.
Stay Neutral
Spotted on the Oscar De La Renta catwalk and many celebrities. This look is in strong contrast to the black. The plain Jane barely-there nail look can be recreated by applying a clear varnish all over the nail, or alternatively a sheer nude shade which will add a hint of colour onto the nail. Do try the SensatioNail’s Barely there or So Rosy gel colours, great for Spring/Summer or when you're looking for a pretty, yet barely there look.
Pop till you drop
Vivid and punchy colours are here to stay!! Bright and bold tones with a twist of colour contrast are right on trend, as spotted on the Jeremy Scott catwalk. This trend is summer perfection. Start practising now and get it down to a T, with the SensatioNail’s Pink Purple People Eater and Island Hopper. To funk it up apply a second shade in a circular shape in the middle of the nail with SensatioNail’s Kiwi Squeeze or even Tropical punch.
Go Graphic
This look has been seen almost everywhere and is set to be the biggest trend of 2017. Go crazy graphic and create any nail art your heart desires, from negative spacing, dots, prints and even cartoons, there is no end to what you can create. Our favourite design was spotted at the Christian Siriano show. Consisting of block colours and stripes, these funky fingers are super easy to create. Start by painting half your nail in a blue and the other half white, using gel colours like SensatioNail’s, Mint and White Lily. Once that is dry, use nail strips to create the black graphic lines. Party or festival, this is the perfect nail look.
