Summer Free Styles

If summer had synonyms this season, it would be light, minimal and free. I'm in love with these minimal,  A-line styles. We no longer see them solely on the catwalks but highstreet stores have made it accessible, affordable and super stylish.

Slip Dress

This is arguably one of the most versatile piece of clothing you can bring. A slip dress can be worn various ways. Throw it on and pair with comfy sandals for a day of sightseeing, with a sweater for a lovely dinner, or even over your swimsuit for some cover up for an evening stroll on the beach.

While the floral print trend has been in full bloom for as long as we can remember, it is still one of the best ways to freshen up your wardrobe and get ready for the summer season. Fabulous florals combined with simple, minimalist accessories, will never go out of style.

If you are looking for a more edgy look, try mixing florals with other prints and adding bold accessories such as statement jewellery or oversized sunglasses.

How Coachella does fashion

While us mere mortals gorged chocolate, and went to church over the Easter weekend somewhere in the Colorado Desert celebs, socialites and the uber trendy were getting down at Coachella.

Festival of festivals the four-day event which was held over two weekends boasted a star-studded a line-up of music greats which included Kendrick Lemar, Lady Gaga, Schoolboy Q and our very own Stormzy to name a few.

But can we talk about the fashion?

No rules no trends just do your thing boo boo. Make sure and take note because the inspiration for many of this summer’s trends will defiantly be drawn from the valley this summer.

You Will Need This On Your Shopping List

You will need this on your shopping list

We love list and by far our favourite list is our fashion shopping list. Because nothing relieves stress quite like retail therapy. Here is some of my #lustlist items on my #lookgood shopping list.

Denim and animal print

Stay fashionable and casual, in the button- down denim dungaree dress, from La Redoute, wear it on a girly weekend with a sweater underneath and look cool and on trend.

The 60’s snake print block heel, and animal print sunglasses from H&M, will inject the new seasons animal prints into your wardrobe.

The covetable bag in the Pantone colour of the year, Greenery, from H&M is a must on my lust list.

Palm prints and earthy tones

Sartorial Jungle, utilitarian details and palm prints in sophisticated earthy tones will put you in #holidaymood lounging on a tropical beach.

Belted high waisted wide leg trousers, H&M, palm print strappy vest, River Island, totally cool #junglequeen.

These pair of tropical print heels, from Dune London and neon print palm print clutch will jazz up any plain outfit.

white and silver

Feminine edge, play the innocent siren in this white off -the- shoulder lace dress, from H&M.

Metallic is still a hot number, the silver metallic block heel mule, from H&M, is the perfect on-trend slip on for any outfit.

Channel classy chic with the, top handle applique detail mini handbag from Dune London and a pair of glitter encrusted cat-eye sunglasses, from River Island.
