Chanel’s Cruise 2015/2016 fashion trends are claimed to be heavily influenced by the Korean designs. There was a catwalk show conducted in Seoul last year where collections of Chanel’s Cruise 2015/2016 were presented along a colorful inter-seasonal line. Here are some of the fashion trends which somewhat bring similarities between Chanel’s Cruise 2015/2016 collections and Korean designs:
1. The Jogakbo Tradition – The Patchwork
One of the famous fashion clothing trends is the tradition of Jogakbo or in other words, patchwork. It’s definitely inspired by the Korean culture. Its colorful pattern was presented in Chanel’s Cruise 2015/2016 with an oversized flower button. Celebratory stripes are also used in this dress.
2. The Pink Petal Dress
This show also featured a traditional Hanbok in a highly fashionable and trendy manner. It was a petal and pastel pink dress which also included a black trim. There are also many other dresses which also are inspired from traditional Korean dresses.
It’s a conventional jacket which offers the appearance of an extreme empire waist. It is often worn with the traditional hanbok.
Here are a few more fashion trends of Chanel’s Cruise 2015/2016 from Korean culture:

What do you think of the new Louboutin range of nude shoes for every skintone?
So we are officially in Spring, although the weather is not playing along yet, we can look forward to, hopefully, some great summer weather. But while we are not there yet, and we are still working on our bikini bodies. HELLO!! Monochrome, one of the best styling tricks to hide those pesky areas that you are conscious of, while at the same time adding inches and making you appear leaner.
Monochrome is often associated with black or white but there are more colors that you can wear to create that elegant monochrome look. Here are my favorite 6 colors, that if chosen in the shade that compliments your skin tone, will carry you through spring and summer for all those cool monochrome looks.
Cool and tranquil the perfect color for your casual street style, as we all have a denim jacket, cutoff shorts, jeans, chambray shirts, and button-down skirts in our closets.

Green is great if you want to refresh your look. And as we are seeing a lot of the khaki safari trend this season. Pulling of the green monochrome look will be a breeze. Choose hues of green like khaki, hunter green, olive green, and forest green for a fresh chic look.
White, the classic summer color. Although most women find it challenging to wear because the all-white shade, as it is not very flaw flattering. The trick is to pick the right fabric and to make sure that it fits your silhouette and that the design flatters your shape. So if you do have a muffin top, pair a structured vest with a dress, as the lapels of outerwear slims down your shape and defines your waist.
Grey, not always a summer color, but definitely a good choice for a slimming monochromatic look. Just be sure that the color does not drown you out so add splashes of complementing color like blueberry blue, red or fuchsia.
Nude, depending on your skin tone this is a very flattering monochrome look. But like grey it can drown you, so make sure that you pick a shade that is in contrast with your skin tone.
Tired of being confined to night time glamour? This season, metallic will be hitting the streets for SS16!
Unleash your inner magpie with shimmering fabrics and shiny accessories from rose gold glitz to high shine shimmer and of course everybody loves a bit of bling!
Chunky trashy jewellery is a quick way to add some flash to your everyday office outfit and metallic shoes will shine some light to your old faithful jeans and take a casual daytime outfit through to the evening.
Check out some of the hottest metallic trends to wear at all times of the day.
Trousers are great and we love dresses but skirts have a certain ladylike chic to them and you can never go wrong with a well styled skirt ensemble. Here at three looks to inspire you to fall in love with skirts.
Unexpected Hues and Prints
Bury the black and gray and go for a statement making skirt for the office a perfect option for a dull Monday.
Break up a printed midi skirt with neutral separates and accent your outfit with complementing accessories.
Go short, for a lunch date, a shorter hemline will make your legs look longer.
Considering the length of your skirt, the right shoe can make or break your outfit. So go for heels with interesting details.
A striped midi, for those casual weekends, vertical lines are always flattering as they give off the illusion of a longer line.
Try and keep your ensemble as simple as possible using your accessories to highlight the shade of your skirt.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to the River Island Style Studio Valentine’s Blogger Event which gave me the opportunity to finally experience the Style Studio and I’m sure it won’t be my last.
Never heard of the Style Studio?
Well………Style Studio launched in the London and Birmingham flagship shops and offers personal, one-to-one bespoke styling services from retailer’s stylists for a 30 minute, one-hour or two-hour session giving customers the opportunity to find out about the latest trends and collections to, “discover their individual style.”
The Style Studio personal shopper lounge is a large luxurious space with comfy sofas and great lighting and massive fitting rooms, perfect if you wanted to bring your friends to give you the thumbs up on your outfit (Or hands down) there is even a bar in case you work up a thirst during your styling session or you need some liquid courage.
Oh and I have to mention ‘magic mirror’, this baby allows you see yourself in 360 degrees, compare outfit photos or even take selfies that you can upload to your social media or send to someone to get a 2nd opinion on your outfit.
The Valentines event was absolutely lovely I was able to network with loads of amazing bloggers and we were all treated to prosecco cookies and other nibbles yum!
The stylists picked out outfits for each blogger and we all tried on and strutted our stuff in front of the magic mirror we also played some party games none of which I won and talked to the stylists about the collection.
