Check out some of the hottest metallic trends to wear at all times of the day.
Trousers are great and we love dresses but skirts have a certain ladylike chic to them and you can never go wrong with a well styled skirt ensemble. Here at three looks to inspire you to fall in love with skirts.
Unexpected Hues and Prints
Bury the black and gray and go for a statement making skirt for the office a perfect option for a dull Monday.
Break up a printed midi skirt with neutral separates and accent your outfit with complementing accessories.
Go short, for a lunch date, a shorter hemline will make your legs look longer.
Considering the length of your skirt, the right shoe can make or break your outfit. So go for heels with interesting details.
A striped midi, for those casual weekends, vertical lines are always flattering as they give off the illusion of a longer line.
Try and keep your ensemble as simple as possible using your accessories to highlight the shade of your skirt.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to the River Island Style Studio Valentine’s Blogger Event which gave me the opportunity to finally experience the Style Studio and I’m sure it won’t be my last.
Never heard of the Style Studio?
Well………Style Studio launched in the London and Birmingham flagship shops and offers personal, one-to-one bespoke styling services from retailer’s stylists for a 30 minute, one-hour or two-hour session giving customers the opportunity to find out about the latest trends and collections to, “discover their individual style.”
The Style Studio personal shopper lounge is a large luxurious space with comfy sofas and great lighting and massive fitting rooms, perfect if you wanted to bring your friends to give you the thumbs up on your outfit (Or hands down) there is even a bar in case you work up a thirst during your styling session or you need some liquid courage.
Oh and I have to mention ‘magic mirror’, this baby allows you see yourself in 360 degrees, compare outfit photos or even take selfies that you can upload to your social media or send to someone to get a 2nd opinion on your outfit.
The Valentines event was absolutely lovely I was able to network with loads of amazing bloggers and we were all treated to prosecco cookies and other nibbles yum!
The stylists picked out outfits for each blogger and we all tried on and strutted our stuff in front of the magic mirror we also played some party games none of which I won and talked to the stylists about the collection.
If you would like to give the Style Studio a whirl you can make an appointment via the website: www.riverisland.com

It is the month of February and I can feel that love is in the air; I would not be surprised if I saw Cupid himself shooting arrows at strangers.
After posing for Marc Jacobs campaign last year Willow Smith is now the face of trendy American sock company Stance Socks.
The talented teen will also be collaborating on a capsule collection of nine unique colourful, patterned which will be released later this year
Stance Socks who previously worked with Rhianna announced the collaboration on its website.
'Singer, actress, dancer and Entrepreneur, there’s simply no box large enough to contain the force that is Willow. With a confidence and sense of style that feels at once unfathomably fresh and yet well beyond her years, she has a self-possessing originality that makes it feel futile to even mention her age because she transcends it.'
'We’d call Willow Smith the ultimate provocateur of artistic expression, but even a label like that feels a little too finite for someone so impossible to define.'
None of young star's sock designs are simple - or meant to be hidden inside shoes, for that matter.
Whether it's the oversized boy-cut blazer; a tassel-embellished accessory; or the block-heels sandals, retro fashion has made a come-back and is here to stay!
Comfort and style - what's not to love?
Handmade Wool Coat & Mule Sandals - Zara
Fringed Suede Bag - Mango
What new season pieces are you adding to your wardrobe?
Let’s face it guys when we wake up its dark. When we leave work its dark, its overcast, it’s rainy and even though spring is on the horizon its not here yet. We need to take things in to our own hands!
Brighten up your wardrobe with the most cheerful colour in the rainbow Canary, lemon, citron, and marigold. I’m talking about yellow baby already spotted in the SS16 catwalks shows of Burberry and Christopher Kane this trend is going to be major this summer so why not get a head start.
Whether you colour block or just opt for a pop this colour will defiantly brighten up your day.
