As I am now 31 years old and I have started to notice my body changing in ways that I am not too happy about, I have found myself frantically searching for a product to remove the bags from under my eyes. I wanted them to have that youthful sparkle once again. For a few weeks I have been using Essentials AA skincare collections Seaweed and Aloe refreshing eye gel. It comes in an easy to carry beige and green bottle with a pump style top and is suitable for all skin types. It soothes the skin and can be used for removing make-up.
The Seaweed that is in the eye gel is rich in vitamins and minerals and when not being eaten it can be applied directly to the skin. Seaweed is said to both strengthen and soothe skin and also has a natural anti-inflammatory so it keeps redness of the skin to a minimum.
The Aloe in the gel also known as the “plant of immortality” by the Egyptians and has been used in medicines for centuries. It heals wounds while treating many other skin conditions. Unlike other eye gels this one will not break the bank as you can buy it online for only £6.96p.You only need to use a small amount therefore a 50ml bottle could last you a long time. After only using the eye gel a few times I noticed the puffiness around my eyes calming down. My family and friends have commented on my appearance and have been asking what my secret is. I was more than happy to share it with them and tell them that it was Seaweed and Aloe gel from Essentials AA skincare collection. Finally the area around my eyes feel youthful again, they are refreshed and ready for what life has to throw at me.

Most people that smoke are trying to give up. Cigarettes damage your health and are costly. Not to mention that the smell they produce due to the burning tar and chemicals in the tobacco seem to cling to your clothes, walls, furniture and hair. As a smoker these are all things that I loathe about smoking. When I was asked to review Vitastik’s, which are vitamin vaporizers, I was excited. Could this really be a cheaper, healthier alternative to cigarettes? I hoped so.
Each vaporizer came in a different colour and when you puffed on one a light would come on at the end to mimic a real cigarette. Vitastik’s produce no smoke, no tar just flavoured vapor. They are designed to give you the vapor of vitamins A, B, C, D, E, CoQ10 terpenes and phytonutrients through inhalation. As phytonutrients can be found in plants you can see that they are quite natural.
I was sent five different Vitastik’s to try:
Calm- Vanilla and Macha Green Tea:
This had a slight sweet taste to it and it was in fact calming.
Grace- Peppermint and Spearmint:
This tasted minty and reminded me of the mint sweets that restaurants give you at the end of a meal to refresh your mouth.
Relax- Blueberry and Blackcurrant:
If you are a fan of sweet things then this would be the Vitastik for you. This one had a intensely sweet taste to it.
Refresh- Mint and Peppermint:
This had an extremely minty taste and left my mouth feeling quite refreshed after.
Energize-Orange and Grapefruit:
This was my favourite, it had a wonderful fruity smell and taste to it.
I for one will be swapping my cigarettes for Vitastik’s from now on, I can use them indoors knowing that no harm will come to my children and the slight smell that they do produce is fantastic.

I am obsessed with tea, most of the women in my family are. It seems to keep me warm in the winter yet keep me cool in the summer. There is virtually nothing that having a cup of tea will not solve or at least I like to think there isn’t. I imagine that with every sip my problem gets that little bit smaller. So when I was given the opportunity to review Quinteassential’s award winning White Elixir tea I jumped at the chance. The tea is said to promote a smooth complexion and inner glow. It is a white tea infused with Jasmine flowers, gingko leaves and spirulina algae. The Jasmine and gingko complement each other exceedingly well and it contains the perfect amount of Jasmine.
When made the tea has a wonderful aroma and it tastes amazing when you have it both hot and cold. I suggest that when you buy it, you try it both ways. White Elixir tea is what I would use to impress a lunch date or my Mother on the morning of her birthday. This tea is bound to brighten up anyone’s day and comes well presented in a posh colourful box that is suitable to give as a gift to even your fussiest of friends. It really is the perfect tea for all tea lovers.
How to make White Elixir tea:
1. Boil Kettle
2. Scoop one teaspoon of loose tea and place in one of the tea bags
3. Close teabag with one of the sticks provided
4. Pour boiled water over teabag and leave to brew for two minutes
5. Sip tea and relax

If you have found that your current nail clippers are ruining your nails and not cutting them properly then it is time for a change.
Every lady wants to smell nice when they go out for a night on the town and especially after a work out at the gym or after a long hard day at the office.
After seeing pictures of Your Tea pop up on Instagram for the 50th time I decided that I had to see what the fuss was all about. I had to know whether this was just another detox phase people were going through or if it was the real deal. I was kindly gifted some Tiny Tea, Skin Tea and Tea Face, now it was time to start my teatox.
Tiny Tea is a 14 day teatox, which does not contain laxatives and is supposed to help your body by clearing your skin and reducing body fat. If this was all true then it would be just what I, and millions of other women were looking for.
When I opened the super cute packaging to begin my teatox and added water to teabag in my mug, I was afraid of what it would taste like. Would I really be able to stick to it for 14 days if the taste was awful? After making the tea (30 minutes before a meal) I drummed up the courage to have my first sip. To my absolute delight it barely had any taste to it. For the rest of the teatox I added a slice of lemon or a spoon of honey to add to the taste.
Only days after starting the teatox I started to notice my body changing. My skin was indeed clearer, my stomach was now flat and my energy levels were through the roof. I was uncertain of why I had so much energy, was it the sheer excitement of having a flat stomach at long last? Either way Tiny Tea was the reason I was feeling so good.
You can see online that Your Tea has a 14 day eating plan for you stick to while on your teatox. I must admit that I did not stick to the menus everyday but I still look and feel fantastic. Your Tea has various other teas that I’m eager to try. Have a look online and see what teas they have to help you. After I have tried the Skin Tea and the Tea Face which is a scrub made from tea granules and is said to heal scars and even skin tone, I’ll be back to tell you all about it.

Most adults do not get the recommended eight hours of sleep a night. This can cause havoc with both our bodies and brains. Sleep should be seen as a priority, just like eating everyday. I have found myself tossing and turning unable to sleep recently but I have found two solutions. Sleep star masks and Dream water. The sleep mask enables me to block out any unwanted light at this time of year and I can use it when travelling. This mask combined with my discovery of Dream water work well. If you are over 18, not pregnant, nursing or taking any medication and are having trouble sleeping then this would be perfect for you.
All you need to do is drink a full bottle of Dream water 30 minutes before you go to bed. (Try chilling it in the fridge before drinking). You will then fall into a relaxed state before drifting off to sleep. I have had some of my best nights sleeps when using Dream water and Sleepstar masks. I wake up feeling refreshed and revitalised, ready to take the world on. I would highly recommend them to anyone with sleeping problems.
The mask that I have been using is the deluxe eye mask from Sleepstar. Not only do they do what it written on the packaging by blocking out all the light they are also comfortable, affordable and one size fits all. They even come in an array of colours so you can pick one to match your bedroom décor.

As my eyes water in this forever changing English weather, my eyeliner never stays on for long. I decided that it was time to go permanent. Having seen pictures of the work that Daisy had done recently, I knew that she was the right lady for the job. I wanted permanent eyeliner on the top and bottom of my eyelids.
On entering the salon I was asked to fill out a medical form, which took longer than expected as my hands I must admit were shaking. I was nervous about the procedure. After taking my form Daisy instructed me to lie down on the bed. I was asked what look I was going for with the eyeliner and then the pre-num was applied to my eyes.
Daisy told me that it would feel a little uncomfortable at first but then I would not feel anything. They say to never trust a bold barber but I felt safe trusting a beautiful beautician; I instantly relaxed after Daisy had talked me through it. When the pre-num had been on for 15 minutes Daisy began.
I could hear the hum of the needle and the music that was playing in the background. All I felt was a slight scratching at first and then nothing. When I say nothing it did feel like a wet cotton bud sliding from side to side over my eyelids which was a nice feeling. Three layers were added to my eyes, these are called passes.
After the procedure my eyes felt sore but this was to be expected. To say I was pleased with the results would be an understatement. I had to keep my eyes dry for a week after and I was told that I could loose up to 50% of the colour but would go back for a top up 4 to 6 weeks later.
To anyone out there that wears eyeliner on a daily basis, stop what you're doing and get in contact with Daisy. You will look fantastic and save yourself so much time and money. It is only two hundred and fifty pounds for what I had done.
