I love looking after my skin and using good skin care products, whether it is products I DIY from my kitchen cupboard or buy instore.
My motto is and has always been that, “beautiful skin begins with exceptional skin care”
I recently attended a No7 skincare event where I learned a bit more about the No7 skincare range, specifically the Protect and Perfect range. This is not a range that I would have used before but after learning more about the range I was quite impressed with it.
We have all seen the television advertisements about the wonder serum that gives you younger and more radiant skin with a visible reduction in fine lines after just a few weeks of use.
Now having received the Protect and Prefect Advance day cream, Early Defence and Protect and Prefect Intense eye creams in our goody bags. I have been using the products for about two weeks now, since the event, and am loving the it.
And although I do not have a lot of visible wrinkles just yet, apart from fine lines around my eye area, which is a problem for many women as you enter into your mid to late 20’s. I have seen an improvement in the reduction of those fine lines around my eye area.
So if you are in your early to mid-20’s, I recommend that you invest in skin care products that works to prevent the early onset of those pesky early aging signs. “Prevention is better than cure”
After two weeks of use my skin is smoother and softer, “just as it says on the tin.” On application the products just melt into my skin and leaves no oily residue, leaving it glowing.
For me the best feature is that it has UVB SPF factor 15 plus 5 STAR UVA giving your skin greater protection from the sun and environmental stresses as you go through your day. Because it is important, especially if we want to prevent early ageing of the skin, to protect it against the sun and outside environmental factors.
These are greats products to start your anti-ageing skin care, keeping that fine lines at bay, for as long as you possibly can.
Best used in conjunction with the Protect and Perfect Advance serum and night creams available in store at Boots or online @ www.boots.com

Love is often best expressed in the smallest of things and in the simplest ways. Often all it takes are three simple words “I LOVE YOU”

Charms are the perfect way to share your journey of love. So why not start that journey with this elegant heart shaped charm engraved with the words “I love you”
Beautifully presented in the Pandora gift pouch and gift bag. Truly a gift of love to treasure!!
Valentines Day can be difficult when it comes to finding that perfect present. Red roses and a card are a little out dated, while some find that a simple ‘I love you’ is enough for them on the most romantic day of the year. But one gift that will never let you down is the perfect piece of jewellery, whether that be a classic silver bracelet, a beautiful pair of stud earrings or a timeless necklace.
Hazel and Kent have an amazing array of sparkling jewellery to choose from, with lots of wonderful pieces that will look perfect with your fresh, spring wardrobe. With prices ranging from £8-£230, there’s something for everyone with stylish accessories and dozens of great brands to choose from, including Guess, Fiorelli and Espirit. We’ve picked out some of our favourite pieces and how to style them for the new season.
Every girl should own a pair of special earrings which go perfectly with any outfit. There are plenty to choose from on the Hazel and Kent website, with varying colours, shapes and sizes. The silver and gold Daisy earrings are a great option to go with a pretty floral dress, or for something more dressy try the stunning Kit Heath for a more glamorous look if you’re heading out for a romantic meal on Valentines.
I love the Topaz Silver Round studs, a bargain for only £12.50. These sparkly jems are easy for work paired with a smart black suit and will see you through to evening too, such is their simple shape and design. And, they sparkly beautifully too! Check out the photos below of me modelling my Topaz earrings.
Rings are a huge spring trend, with the likes of Kylie Jenner and Chrissy Teigan favouring the stack ring look. For a more artsy style, look no further than the Pasha silver plated ring in the abstract shape of a 3D circle or for that extra special piece, the violet Baccaret flower ring is a wonderful, at £210. We couldn’t help but fall in love with Hazel and Kent’s beautiful selection of necklaces too, with the trendy DKNY stainless steel ring necklace a particular favourite. (Look to the catwalks of Lanvin and Saint Laurent in regard to how to wear statement jewellery this season – bold and chunky basically.)
If you’re still struggling with gift ideas, than there’s always the old pearl favourite. Pearls have long been associated with a certain effortless style, and are usually a sentimental heirloom piece, much loved by the likes of Coco Chanel and Elizabeth Taylor. Hazel and Kent have the perfect necklace, in the shape of the simple Perlissimo freshwater heart necklace. Sweet and stylish, this show stopping item will be sure to get heads turning when worn with a LBD or dressed down with a cashmere jumper and tailored trousers.
So there you have it. This year, there’s no excuse not to find that ideal present for that special someone on Valentines Day.

We have become so accustomed to the idea that, Valentine’s day is and should be about being in a relationship and that leaves us feeling unloved and hating the day. Valentine’s day is about celebrating love and that love does not necessarily have to be within a relationship. So if you are not part of a couple enjoy the day celebrating the things that you love, your family, friends, your pets or just the everyday things in life that puts a smile on your face.
Love is about many things but I believe that the most important element of love is to love ourselves because if we do not love ourselves first how can we be open to receive the love of others.
We can celebrate our love by spending time with our girlfriends, spoiling ourselves with that special item we have been saving up for, buying our favourite flowers, lipstick or perfume.
So this valentine’s day lets love ourselves by feeling gorgeous and taking care of ourselves first.
Gift yourself with your favourite flowers there is nothing like fresh flowers to brighten up a space and put a smile on our face.
Pamper your self
We all lead such busy lives and our mind is constantly racing with what not to do and ticking of the things on our daily “to do” list that taking time out for ourselves is usually not on our list. So make this valentine’s day a pamper day.

When you have a daughter with long curly hair it is wonderful but problems can occur when their hair gets frizzy and dry and you are unable to find the right hair care. Every month we have to try new products as they do not moisturize the hair properly and it once again becomes frizzy especially at the front of her hair. Over the past two weeks I have tried Dominican Hair Cares;
Doctor Cabello Biotina magic hair shampoo (1): This is said to revitalize your hair and contains vitamin E, which nourishes dehydrated hair. Each strand of your hair gets coated with Biotin to leave your hair feeling moisturized, hydrated and it stops any further damage to your hair. (I washed my daughters hair with this shampoo and then rinsed it off).
Doctor Cabello Biotin magic hair treatment (2): This promises to give new life to damaged and tired looking hair. Also full of vitamin E, Biotin and B5 it restores your hairs natural volume, repairs any damage and adds a healthy sheen to your hair. (I left this on my daughter’s hair for 20 minutes before rinsing it out).
Doctor Cabello Biotina magic hair balsam (3): This is said to give your hair the loving care that it deserves. The vitamin E and Biotin rich conditioner instantly refreshes your hair and stops any breakage. (I left this in my daughter’s hair for 10 minutes before rinsing it out).
Doctor Cabello Biotina leave-in conditioner (4): This is suitable for any hair types just like all the other products in their range but was specially created for bringing moisture to dry hair. Just like the other products it too is enriched with vitamin E and Biotin to give your hair that healthy feeling and look. (As it is a leave in conditioner I massaged this into my daughters hair after towel drying it).
After using all the treatments in her hair the frizz was no longer and her hair became silky as the tangles were no more. Her hair is now back to the curly, shiny and healthy texture that it once was. As her hair is so easy to comb through now she is able to do it herself which saves me a job in the mornings. Her hands always seem to be stroking at her hair feeling how soft it is, she loves how good it feels. www.dominicanhaircare.co.uk

DR. PAW PAW is a product that I cannot live without in my pro kit and also my handbag. My skin becomes dry, dehydrated and tired with cracked lips very easily due to the lack of sleep and long working days. Luckily for me my long working days see me playing with makeup and beauty products and whilst doing so I found this amazing product.
Having first used it in Marbella borrowed from a fellow makeup artist working alongside me, I used the original balm on the eyelids to create a glossy eye. The normal go to glosses and balms couldn’t cope with the heat and just melted away. Dr Paw Paw saved my makeup look that day.
When arriving back in the UK I soon purchased the original balm and now I use it not only on myself everyday but also on all my models and clients.
I was soon quick to discover that this magic balm was in fact like magic. The ingredients are natural with the main one being Pawpaw, followed by Olive oil and Aloe Vera Oil, blended together they create a miracle soothing and healing balm.
I use the balm on my lips daily and re apply as needed throughout the day. The balm leaves them soft and well moisturised without any stickiness or cracking from the product. Once a week I also coat my face with a film of the original balm in the evening. I let the balm soak into my skin just as you would a moisturiser. The benefits show the following morning when I wake up with soft glowing skin.
As well as using the balm on myself, all my wonderful clients also benefit. Before any makeup application I prep the skin and lips. I always use Dr Paw Paw to prep the lips. This ensures the perfect soft lips required before I go on to apply lip colour. I also use the original balm to set eyebrows. Apply a small dot of product onto a clean mascara wand or eyebrow comb and simply stroke the product through the brows for perfect in place brows all day.
A new technique that I tried last week and absolutely loved was using the pink peach tinted balm as a blusher. I’m a big fan of cream based products over powder and was rather excited to see the fantastic results of the balm. So not only did my client have a pop of beautiful colour on her cheeks but I also knew that her skin was benefiting from the added moisture that Dr Paw Paw balms give.

What new season pieces are you adding to your wardrobe?
Let’s face it guys when we wake up its dark. When we leave work its dark, its overcast, it’s rainy and even though spring is on the horizon its not here yet. We need to take things in to our own hands!
Brighten up your wardrobe with the most cheerful colour in the rainbow Canary, lemon, citron, and marigold. I’m talking about yellow baby already spotted in the SS16 catwalks shows of Burberry and Christopher Kane this trend is going to be major this summer so why not get a head start.
Whether you colour block or just opt for a pop this colour will defiantly brighten up your day.
Heels makes you feel sexy and confident and the higher the better!! but they are not always good for the health of our feet and leave our feet feeling and looking like it has been in a war zone. Here are some tips on how to wear your killer heels without causing too much pain to your feet.
Blisters are caused by friction, as your foot rubs against your heel. So reduce friction by wearing a thick strap over the foot as this hold the foot in place and prevents it from slipping around and causing friction points.
Available @ www.office.co.uk
Keep your pedicure short
Wearing heels and walking around in them all day, can make your feet sweat, causing your feet to slide forward, so always make sure that your pedicures are short so it does not cause extra tension on the toes.
Available @ Dune www.dunelondon.com
Running around and on your feet all day, make sure that your shoes are comfortable. Chunky block heels, or cute kitten heels, for all day running around, are a better than those high stilettos’. Keep those supper high heels for date night or girly nights out.
Also make sure that your shoes are not too tight as your feet will not have any room to breathe.
Available @ www.office.co.uk
LILLIAN SLINGBACK - www.hobbs.co.uk
Relieve the pressure
When you are on your feet all day, try to relieve the pressure by slipping of your shoes. You can do this while sitting at your desk, just to give your feet a little breather.
Available @ www.office.co.uk
Sprinkle bottom of shoes with baby powder
The baby powder will soak up any moisture created from the walking in your heel all day. The moisture from your feet sweating can cause friction which will cause blisters. So the baby powder will keep your feet from slipping and thus minimizes blisters.
Floral prints, are a classic pattern and a stable in so many of our wardrobes. And as in nature it heralds the coming of Spring when flowers are in bloom and our senses are tantalise with beautiful smells and colour. So this coming Spring season whether it is daisies or roses make your floral tribute a memorable one!!
Flower designs range from dainty and delicate to big and bold, each kind carrying its own personality and character. Choose a pattern that works with your personal taste and style.
Do not pile on accessories when wearing striking prints as you want the print to shine.
Smaller and dainty prints can bring a feminine and romantic touch to a day or evening look.
If you want to make a statement then choose pieces with larger flowers, bright colors, vibrant designs and eye-catching details.
For a slimming effect opt for dresses with flowers going down the center as this will draw the eye in, creating a slimming illusion.
Floral prints typically come in multiple colors, giving you plenty of styling possibilities. So when pairing items, wear clothing in coordinating colors to create a cohesive look. This also gives you the option of creating different looks with just one item. So pay attention to the pattern's colors, and choose one or two, then work around it when pairing items.
Floral prints also look good with solid neutral shades. These colors include black, white, gray, taupe, ivory and beige. Pairing with neutrals are great if pairing with solid colors are too daunting for you and also if you do not want to pair pieces with any of the colors found in the actual print.
It is also easier to pair floral prints with neutrals, when you are not sure what to wear, but would like to add florals to your ensemble.
Floral accessories can add instant style and are one the simplest and easiest ways to introduce prints/ patterns to your wardrobe. Even just one accessory is enough to brighten up an otherwise plain outfit.
Larger items such as tote bags, hats and scarves can add major color to a look. Jewelry and belts brings a light dose of floral fun to any day look. So invest in a few flower patterned accessories, because you will never know when your outfit will need a little extra floral lift.

It is not easy to ignore chapped lips and as the weather gets colder and the air drier they just get worse. Dry, flaky and even painful chapped lips are no joke so here are some simple ways to heal them and keep them moisturized.
Honey Lip Scrub
Honey locks moisture in to your skin, so a little honey combined with sugar and almond oil to exfoliate. Rub gently onto your lips as it moisturizes and takes off dead skin.
Fill up on water
Water is the best aid for dry, flaky lips because if you are hydrated, your lips will be too.
Brush your lips with a soft toothbrush
If you do not have lip scrub, then try a soft toothbrush to gentle exfoliate your lips once or twice per day.
If your lips are starting to get really cracked and painful, open up a vitamin E capsule and put a little bit of the gel right on the problem areas.
Go for natural lip balms
When buying a lip balm make sure that they contain coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter or beeswax to seal in moisture.
Take care before bedtime
Apply some coconut oil or even honey on your lips at night and wake up with soft and supple lips.
Sunny laid back days with clear blue skies and bright yellow sunshine !!, that is where Camp California will take you. We all get super excited about the new year and our goal to get fit and healthy. We spend tons of money on fitness gear, clothes and gym memberships only to give it up come March.
So why not try something different to help you, keep it up!!
Kickstart your children’s confidence (if you have kids, if not your niece and nephews will do)
Do this by incorporating a physical activity into their everyday routine. It can be to play catch, dance while doing chores around the house, or a fun weekend activity like cycling or walks in the park. Exercise should be fun so turn it into a family activity rather than a chore.
Mindfulness is the practice of being present in the moment. Pick an activity where you normally zone out and try to stay focused and in the moment while doing it. This is not easy but, it will contribute to a happier state of mind.
Find Your Fitness
Instead of investing in an expensive gym membership, buy a skipping rope, you can pick it up anytime during the day and skip for about 20 minutes it works the whole body or try a HIIT workout. Find some great workouts on Tone It Up
Workout wear available @ www.newlook.com
Take The Right Vitamin Supplements
Instead of buying up the whole health store, focus on what your body really needs. A multivitamin will top you up your health-supporting nutrients that are lacking from your diet. Omega-3 will boost your immune system. You can incorporate this through eating fish such as salmon and tuna.
Fill up during the day with fresh fruit and unsalted nuts.
Not getting enough sleep is bad for your skin, mental wellbeing, weight and immune system. Try to sleep for at least seven to eight hours a night. Create a routine by going to bed and waking up at the same time every day. Also try to switch your phone off before bedtime.
Invest In A Juicer Or Blender
Saving on a gym membership means you can invest in a good blender or juicer for healthy juices and smoothies. Combine your favorite fruits or try kiwi, banana, spinach, cucumber, ginger and lime for a nutritious drink.
The 2016 Pantone colors are Rose Quartz and Serenity a soft mix of baby pink and baby blue.
Rose Quartz with its gentle tone conveying compassion and a sense of composure.
Serenity with its calming effect and sense of relaxation. Reminding us to always be mindful and in a constant state of happiness.
The secret to wearing Pantone 2016’s colors is to pair items to make up your own combination of the solid tones, rather than trying to find items with both of these shades in it. This does not mean that, you have to find one piece with both of these colors in it, instead try to mix and match items to create the same effect.
Pair with tailored silhouettes and rich textures to counter balance the delicate hues of sugary sweetness. Fabrics like silk make these two tones look really sophisticated.

I would like to start the new year by sharing one of my most enjoyable highlights from last year.....Enjoy and don't forget to pop back next week to read all about my favourite beauty products entering 2016 with me.
In July 2015 I had the pleasure to travel to Florence Italy, to provide makeup and hair for an editorial shoot.
The concept of the shoot was to experience the unknown streets of Florence and experience it from the eyes of a local girl going about her day to day life and day dreaming about her dreams. This local girl, played by Charli, is able to keep her dreams alive of being a royal princess as well as showing her everyday life as she cycles down the street, takes a ride in her chariot or visits in a local park.
The era was not to be present day but a mixture of 50s, 40s and 20s. This was achieved by mixing up wardrobe, hair and make-up looks from the different eras to create our final look.

January 2016, the first month of a new year, exciting, daunting and freaking amazing because we get a do over. A blank slate to never ever again make the same fashion mistakes, to not buy that shade of foundation, lipstick or eyeshadow because it simply did not bring out the best in us. You will, like every other year, decide to live and be better. But this year you are going to stick to it, because you have finally learned that in order to be better, you need to let go and avoid the mistakes of last year.
So what are you going to do this new year;
You are going to love yourself more
You are going to stop focusing on how you look and stop comparing your beauty to those around you
You are going to get to know and understand your body shape
You are going to wear colors that suits your skin tone and brings out the best in you
You will pamper yourself at least once a week and this will include manicures, pedicures and a facial
You will watch what you eat and drink because what you put into your body usually shows on the outside

I love reviewing beauty product and when I was sent the Rossi Rice Bran & Borage Seed cleansing oil I couldn’t wait to try it out.
I have been using the cleansing oil now for one week as I think a week give your face time to get used to a new product. I like to keep my cleansing to a minimum so normally use two methods when washing my face 1. Wipes 2. Face wash and i usually find that neither removes fully every trace of makeup or daily grime. I don’t normally use a daily cleanser but getting used to adding this into my regime was a breeze especially when I saw how much more it cleaned my face and removed the last traces of makeup.
The oil comes in a lovely packaging and once opened it’s presented in a glass bottle with a pump. The consistency is a lovely and thick oil so you don’t need to use too much and it does not drip everywhere. My method was to massage the oil into my slightly damp face then remove with a damp cotton wool pad which left the face feeling great, totally clean, moisturised and hydrated all at the same time.
What gave the Rossi Rice Bran & Borage Seed cleansing oil extra bonus point for me was that it used 100% natural ingredients. It did have a slight unusual smell which I guess was from the bran but it still did not put me off.
Rossi Rice Bran & Borage Seed cleansing oil is a 100% natural cleanser that also includes avocado seed botanicals. More about the ingredients below:
Rice Bran Oil
Borage Seed Oil
100% natural ingredients and no fragrance. No parabens, sulphates, petro-chemicals, PEGs, phthalates or plastic fillers.
I think the Rossi Rice Bran & Borage Seed cleansing oil is a great product and worth every penny but if you don’t want to take my word for it why not buy a bottle and try it out for yourself. The hydrating cleansing oil (100ml) retails at 14.95 which isn’t too pricy as it will last a long time if used wisely. You can get it from www.rossiuvema.com
Enjoy and happy cleansing with Rossi Uvema!

Every year at Christmas and on New Years Eve I dress up. There is something about those two dates that makes me want to wear fancy dress, the dates and the fancy dress partiesthat I get invited to. This year thanks to Tickled Pink fancy dress I will be dressing up in a Kigurumi purple unicorn costume. It is purple and white, has a long purple tail and on the hood it has the Unicorn’s ears, eyes nose and it has its famous horn, which is yellow.
As it is a onesie it is comfortable too. It has a low cut crotch and one size fits all. The sleeves and around the ankles are elasticated so you will not get the bottoms dirty. I absolutely love it and it is less than 40 pounds. If purple is not your colour there is no need to worry because it comes in pink and blue.
With the Kigurumi costumes you could also be a Fox, Leopard, White Tiger, Red Panda, Zebra or a Giraffe. As this costume is so easy to move around in you will not have to miss out when it is time to dance, you can whip and naa nae all night long.
Tickled Pink fancy dress provide many other outfits for you to choose from, they have Superhero’s, Pirates, Disney costumes, Halloween and Army costumes. They have a range of accessories to go with all the costumes, face paint and make-up, hats, wigs and moustaches and weapons and armour for all those going into battle for the night.
If you have not already got the perfect fancy dress costume for all the festive parties go online at Tickled Pink fancy dress and get yours.

This is the season to party, and all those late night partying leaves your skin looking tired. And the last thing you want, waking up after a great night is tired looking skin. So why not let your products take the night shift. Why not give these products a try this party season?
A good night cream recovers and moisturizers. The new Miracle sleeping cream from Garnier does just that, with its self-smoothing texture it envelops the skin and visibly helps to reduce the signs of fatigue while you sleep.
For best results, especially during this crazy party season, use it every night for skin that looks refreshed and less tired.
Overnight mask is one of the best ways to wake up with beautifully refreshed skin. Garnier’s Miracle Wake Up Cream serves as an overnight mask. It re-awakens your skin revealing radiant, soft and youthful looking skin morning after morning.
“Remove all make-up & cleanse skin to wake up with well-hydrated skin”
As far as Serums goes the number one serum, for me will always be Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II. After the first night of using it you will wake up to more beautiful looking skin.
Although many of the world's top fashion shows can provide an fascinating introduction to the next season's styles, for many who are interested to see what the latest range of cutting-edge designs look like in real life, there's no better way than by simply visiting the races.
Horse racing has enjoyed a long and close relationship with the aristocracy in many countries, and because of this many top couture houses have sought to use these spectacular occasions to unveil their latest creations.
So here's a look at how high-end fashion has managed to gain access to the racing world and provide an extra dose of entertainment alongside the betting options and of course the racing itself.
The introduction of ladies days as the pinnacle of fashion for many racing events has been greatly enjoyed by spectators, attendees and of course the press who relish the opportunity to comment upon the fashion successes and mistakes of the many celebrities who flock to the event.
Because of the huge amount of attention that many race-going celebrities attract, there's a great deal of competitiveness amongst many of the high-end designers to get such celebrities to wear their latest creations.
Although many of the prestigious events attract aristocratic celebrities such as Zara Phillips, it's invariably the fashion faux-pas of some of the more alcoholically-enhanced racegoers that attracts the greatest amount of press derision.
In order to not attract the wrath of the fashion police, it's always a good idea to take a few tips from some of the top designers in the country. So we asked Denise Mahmud from the London-based brand Moixa who specialise in beautifully-crafted and trend-resistant clothing her thoughts and advice on fashion at the races.
Why do you think horse racing events have become such an important part of the fashion calendar?
Considered a formal social event, horse racing has had close ties to fashion for decades. Since the early 1900s the races have been a place to see and show off new fashion trends.
If you had to design an outfit for the races, how would you get around the restrictions over dress codes in regards to hem lengths?
I designed outfits for the races every year. I try to help my clients understand that lady-like doesn't have to mean boring. Instead of working around the restrictions, I try and make them a feature that reflects the client's personality and style.
Do you approve of the rise of fascinators?
Personally, I'm not a fan of fascinators. They're like an Alice Band gone wrong.
Denise Mahmud's advice regarding dress codes is of key importance when considering fashion at the races. Many of racing's key social events such as Royal Ascot will frequently implement restrictive codes of dress for different areas of the racecourse and as such, it's always a good idea to check with the race course's website before attending.
The subject of fascinators is particularly sensitive in the world of racing, as many particularly outrageous designs have led to top racing events such as Royal Ascot banning the offensive headwear.
However, much as betting is part of the fun of Ladies Day thanks to sites like Betway who have a handy new mobile betting feature on their website, it's always important to remember to embrace the style challenges with a degree of fun and enthusiasm.
Whilst it can be tempting to try and adapt some of the latest designs from the couture houses into your look for the races, keeping your hemlines traditional and perhaps embracing some exciting new colours and textures could be a better way to approach this fashion dilemma.
Online boutiques such as Little Black Dress have provided a good selection of race-day dresses that capture a degree of sophistication thanks to some sharp 1960s cuts, whilst the subtle use of feminine floral imagery softens the look to make it perfect for the coming of spring.
As the many of the racing world's top events such as the Cheltenham Gold Cup tend to take place in the colder months of the year, it's always a good idea to try and layer up too. On-trend textures such as coloured suede can provide all of us with a stylish look that will keep us warm when we're out at the track all day. And if you're feeling particularly countrified, then you can always pay a fashion tribute to horse-racing's country origins by adopting a tweed look in the form of a sharply-fitting blazer.
So whether you're sipping champagne in a chic A-line dress in the executive box, or cheering on one of the favourites in the race in your warmest winter jacket, make sure that you have fun with your look and celebrate your betting at the races with the very best in British fashion.

At this time of the year I love lounging around at home, sitting by the open fire reading a book in my comfy pyjamas and drinking a hot chocolate with maybe a tiny splash of Baileys in. When it is the evening and I read a good night story to the children I like to make sure that I feel comfortable so choosing the right nightwear is a must. If I am not in the right night attire, then when it comes to falling asleep it is an absolute nightmare. Having my beauty sleep is a must.
When I was looking online the other day trying to find some new pyjamas to treat myself to I came across a website called The Pyjama Store in London. I instantly fell in love with all that they had. As I have not yet won the lottery (buying a ticket would help) I knew I could only choose a few to order. How would I manage to just pick a few, when everything they had looked so elegant and luxurious?
After I spoke to the lovely James who owns the store he told me that he would gift me with a pair of Ce Soir pyjamas with black and ivory stripes. To say I was delighted would be an understatement. I felt like a kid in a candy store looking at all they had to offer. One of my favourite pyjamas are: Three J: NYC ‘Jamie’ cotton white with grey trim. The Pyjama Store provides for men, woman and children so that no one in the family will be left out. Pyjamas are always a much needed present so why not treat your family and friends to some this Christmas?
Have a look online at www.thepyjamastore.com and then you and your family can sleep as well as I do at night.

This Christmas may your gift giving bring you as much pleasure as your gift receiving!!
Here are some of my favorite gifts for this Christmas. Merry Christmas!!
It goes without saying that you should always buy the best for your very best friend. Spoil her with something sparkly and gold. A cute gold clutch is great for those girly nights out and a gift that she can always treasure.
I love these bags because they scream look at me! The perfect gift for the creative personality, so if your friend loves bold prints she will love either one of these bags to add to her collection.
What girl does not love receiving beauty products to spoil themselves with. The Laura Mercier Crème de la crème luxe body cleanser collection contains four delicious body cleansers in scents of Ambre Vanillé, Almond Coconut Milk, Crème Brûlée and Tarte au Citron.
Sisley All day all year prestige box is a day and night anti-aging duo that pushes back the visible signs of skin aging. The box contains the All-day all year 50ml anti- aging shield that protects the skin from outside aggressions to help preserve its youthfulness. As well as the Supremÿa 50 ml, a night time repair product that repairs the skins past damage and leaves it looking radiant and youthful.
The true Fashion diva will love these pair of silver boots and a good quality handbag like the Michael Kors Grey tote that will match perfectly with everything in her wardrobe.
Beautiful quality lingerie always makes for a nice gift, whether you buy it for yourself or you get the man in your life to buy it for you.
Remember when buying lingerie; to pay attention to the detail and make sure that what you are buying are comfortable because you want to look sexy but you also want to be comfortable when wearing it.
The classic such as black, pink, red and whites are always a popular option. If you want to steer away from the classics go for navy which suits most skin types. If your man is buying it for you, do some research with him online so that he knows what to buy when heading into the shops.
Fragrance is always a winner whether it is buying your old favorite or trying out something new. Gucci Bamboo is a floral woody scent for the confident yet feminine women.
Coco Mademoiselle for the brave and modern women that loves luxury and elegance, a favorite gift among many women.
Tom Ford Noir Extreme, an amber woody oriental fragrance for the man in your life.
For all those last minute gifts the Martini Shaker set for stay in cocktail evenings. Add a pop of color to her handbag with the Calvin Klein purses. The beautiful painted Cath Kidston Rose bath set contains products with a velvety rose scent enriched with shea butter and glycerin. The gift set comprises of; Painted Rose Shower Gel - 30ml, Painted Rose Body Lotion - 30ml, Painted Rose Bath Crystals - 25g, Painted Rose Soap - 25g and Face Cloth.
We all have that one friend that loves to entertain. Spoil her with any of the Biba art deco collection for nights of great food, good wine and great friends.
There's something about the festivities that makes us want to do something special with our wardrobe style. More so for those of us who spend Christmas time celebrating the birth of Christ- the reason for the season!
So, as my custom is, I'm sharing a few 'must - buy' pieces that include both Highstreet high-end and mainstream prices. Rather than break the bank to look good for the special occasion, why not mix it up? It's amazing how styling your wardrobe can really bring out class and elegance - all on a budget!

We are currently onto stage 3 with Bond Jewellery and Diamonds. Jamie has decided on the perfect design with Jake so it is finally time to add what I would call the sparkle. It is time for Jake to go to Bond’s consultation suite and decide on what diamonds they should use for the engagement ring.
Having been told what Jakes budget was earlier on in the stages, Jamie has been able to find a number of diamonds for him to view and choose from. The diamonds all have unique characteristics; carat weight, colour and clarity. What all the diamonds will have in common is that they are all in a round brilliant cut that matches the design impeccably.
Jake was shown each diamond one after the other and had the differences of each one explained to him. He was told what impact this particular diamond would have on the rings price. After viewing 6 diamonds Jake fell in love with a stunning 1.16ct, D colour diamond.
The ring for Jakes future wife will include a 16 small 0.03ct stones set within the shoulders of the ring. All of the diamonds must match the centre stone on colour and clarity so that the brilliance and sparkle of all the diamonds will be equal. After Jake found the 16ct centre diamond he then found the smaller stones that would accompany.
Now the design and diamonds have been selected the real magic can begin; the creation stage. Even I am excited at this stage so I can only imagine how Jake must be feeling.

What an enjoyable few hours spent this evening at the Bare Mineral counter at House of Fraser Nottingham.
I braced the wintery weather and was warmly welcomed by the two hosts with a glass of bubbly and strawberries dipped in chocolate and a raffle ticket.
Guests were given an overview of some of the best Bare Mineral products and offers in the range which would make great gifts for Christmas for family and friends.
We were also able to see a demo of the products being applied to two of regular people, one young and one more mature. The looks were nice and natural and showing how just adding a little more colour, eyeliner and heavier mascara can transform the face from a day look to evening look using one simple pallet.
After the demo we were given the opportunity to test and purchase any product we wanted and with every purchase we received a raffle ticket to win one of the lovely gifts on offer. I purchased the mineral powder and stoke of light eyebrightner for darker skin tones which was nice and light but had good coverage. Just how I like it!
Tha raffel was finally drawn and i won two prizes one of which was possibly the best on the table. The prizes were - travel makeup brushes, a gold bag with mineral powder, lip gloss, eye shadow, eye shadow brush, eyeliner and a makeup brush.
Before the evening ended we were all presented with a Bare mineral goody bag which contained even more fabulous gifts to sample from other brands within House of Fraser such a perfumes, eyeliner, body wash mineral foundation to name a few.
To say this was a worthwhile and enjoyable experience is putting it lightly and I have lots of lovely products and gifts to try out over the next few months.
If you have never used Bare Mineral products I suggest you give them a try.
A big thank you goes out to the ladies who hosted the event and I look forward to attending another event again soon and telling everyone all about it.

Pop princess Rhianna yesterday launched her brand new agency Fr8me with managing partner Benoit Demouy in Los Angeles. The LA based agency’s mission is to style artists for booking commercials, editorial shoots, ad campaigns and red-carpet appearances.
Rihanna spoke “Hair, makeup and styling play an important role in creativity. I am very involved with that part of my process, so this agency was an organic thing for me to do”.
The agency have already lined up Rihanna's makeup artist Mylah Morales, wardrobe stylist Jason Bolden and celebrity hair stylists Patricia Morales and Marcia Hamilton. It is not yet known which other artists will be signed up or which celebrity clients the agency plan to work with, but Rihanna's new business venture is big talk in LA and looks to be a success.
According to H&M the jumpsuit is this season’s chicest around-the-clock piece. As it's the festive season why not go for colour or glam it up with glitter. When it comes to the shoes, dress it down with a pair of flats or rock it with elegant in heels.
I promised you that I would be back with more information on Jake and creating the perfect engagement ring for his future wife and this is the next instalment. We are now onto the second stage with Bond Jewellery and Diamonds. As Jake has now clearly explained to Jamie exactly what piece and style he likes, the process is able to move on. Stage two is where Jamie and the other employees at Bond Jewellery and Diamonds get together and begin to develop the perfect design for Jakes beautiful fiancé. This process involves sketches and computer-aided design.
Jamie is knowledgeable and keeps up to date with all the up and coming trends on the market so that his customers will never be disappointed with their designs. All the while Jamie keeps in constant contact with Jake sending him their ideas via meetings and emails. This gives the client full control in creating the perfect piece for their partner. Keeping the client involved is important as this is their way of expressing their love to another. Everything about the whole process must be perfect.
After a design has been decided on Jake will move on to selecting the right diamond or diamonds.
