I was asked to review AEOS facial products and hand cream and to be honest as I like a simple daily cleansing regime I was a little overwhelmed by all the different products and wondered if I would be able to continue for more than one day with the process. However I was willing to give it a try.
After persevering with these products I have to say I love everything about them. From the moment you open the pack, the presentation, the textures, the smells, everything. My face felt clean refreshed ready to take on the day and then also cleaned from all makeup and grime of the day ready for bed.
Favourite products from AEOS have to be 1. Dew Facial Wash 2. Gentle Cleansing Lotion 3. Enriching Moisture (blue) and 4. Realive Serum. All containing organic and essential oils like lemon, neroli, honey just to name a few.
However my ultimate favourite and #musthave from the AEOS range has to be the AEOS Enriching Spelt Hand Cream oh my days, this product felt like silk on the hands and the smell was out of this world. I shared it with my girlfriends and the expression on their face said it all. Nourished hands is all I can say.
Would I buy these products again? Absolutley!
Thank you AEOS for allowing me to test your products it was a pleasure!

Having little girls makes you realise just how many bags they need (want) in their lives, I can’t tell you an exact number but I can tell you that’s it’s a lot. They need bags to take out when they go shopping with their friends (probably for more bags), bags for their toys, bags for their make-up etc.
Every time I go food shopping with my girls and they have picked up a few of what they would call vital essentials on the way round they insist on having their own bags to put them in. Buying them their own jute bag every time we frequent the shops can end up being quite pricey. I wished they could just stick to the one bag.
One of my friends told me to check out bags at ClaireaBella Classics when I told her my problem. What I saw on their website solved all my problems. I could choose a jute bag and then pick what design to have on it. Each of the designs where girls, you could pick what skin tone the girl was and what outfit she would wear. You could even pick what accessories she has. To make the bag even more perfect for your little girls, you can have their name added to it. I instantly knew my girls would fall in love with them. I picked the large jute bag costing just less than forty pounds.
It is not just jutes bags that you can buy at ClaireaBella but also suitcases with the same designs. This is a case that you wont be losing easily at the airport. They have many more gift ideas for the girls; you just need to look online. They sell make-up bags, latte mugs, personalised hoodies, and my favourite; wine glasses. There really is too much for me to mention, you need to have a look for yourselves, you will not be disappointed.
ClaireaBella has many celebrity fans such as Amy Childs, Kelly Brook, Fern Cotton and The Saturdays.

Her round curves and sleek lines are admired by fashion editors, celebrities and #chloeGIRLS everywhere.
The Drew bag comes is so versatile and comes in a number of colours ranging from light to dark which means it will go with just about any look.
Here are a few ways to rock the Drew bag:
Retailed at Chloe from £960.00 upwards, which may be too expeive for most of us but you can always opt for a cheaper version like this one from Topshop for £30.00.
The days are getting cooler, the dark nights are already here, we wrap up in big jumpers, coats, scarfs and hats but don't let that stop you from looking beautiful. Look forward to the new season by trying out some of the new hottest hair trends. From a classic French twist with a modern update, low ponytails or my personal key hair trend bohemian waves there's something pretty for everyone this new season.
The Low Ponytail
Messy or sleek, side or straight, the low ponytail is big this season. The trick to the trend is to wear it very low. Choose a messy low ponytail for the daytime and by night opt for a sleek sophisticated look wither straight or to the side. If you're wearing one of winters hot metallic eye makeup trends why not wrap some metal around the ponytail.
A classic French twist with a difference is massive this season after seeing it on the catwalk with both Chanel and Tom Ford amongst others. The key to the trend is to make the twist looser and younger. Make it much messier or try adding waves to the hair first, hold the twist with statement pins or ribbon.
My key hair trend is exactly this. Beautiful long, thick, textured kinky waves that simply look like you plaited your hair wet and let it air dry; and why not do exactly that? If you don't want to leave your hair to dry in plaits simply spray some sea salt spray into damp hair before drying
Nothing says casual-chic like a pair of flared jeans, so goodbye to skinny jeans. This 70’s flashback is all about a casual retro trend.
Flare denims available @ Miss Selfridge, Coat @Miss Selfridge, shoe @Miss Selfridge, bag @Dorothy Perkins
Wear a heel with your flares:
The flare shape elongates your legs and a heel will take that illusion one step further. As well as minimize the risk of a bunched up hem.
Flare denims available @ Miss Selfridge, Jacket New Look, Shoe@ Dune, bag@ Dune and Cami @Very
A perfect hem:
With flares it is all about the hem. Go for a pair with a slightly longer length than the rest of the trousers in your wardrobe.
Flare denims available @ Miss Selfridge, Blouse @ Very, Cape @ Laredoute, shoes @ Very, clutch @ Primark
Opt for a high- waisted silhouette:
This is the most flattering fit, because any trousers that sits higher on the hips will enhance the leg-lengthening affect and give you a curvy silhouette. Add a belt for a more defined waist.
Coats, jackets and hoodies are the common layers we throw on once the temperature start to drop. But the poncho has become the latest piece of layering to keep us warm and on trend.
Available @ www.littlewoods.ie
It work well with nearly everything in your wardrobe. Poncho’s can be tailored for a chic formal and or professional style or bohemian in chunky knits, colourful patterns, Aztec prints and or tassels and fringes.
Although poncho’s can appear to be an easy item to wear, it’s important that you choose a poncho that fits your frame. Make sure that it is not too small or to big but that it fits your frame, otherwise you will drown in it.
Necklines such as cowl neck, turtleneck, V-neck, scoop-neck, crew-neck, and boat neck are great as they frame your face and upper body. Whereas boat necks and crew necks tend to make the chest and shoulders look wider, but are perfect if you have narrow shoulders or a small bust V-necks especially are good for women with broad shoulders or a large bust, as it has a slimming effect. If you have a longer neck, go for a turtleneck that has a shortening effect through the neck and face.
Available @ www.primark.com
If you want to elongate your frame opt for a ponchos that falls, no lower than two centimetres above your knee.
Petite ladies should be aware of long ponchos as they will overwhelm your petite frame.
To balance out your silhouette, choose bottoms that have a slim fit, especially if you are top-heavy.
Available @ www.houseoffraser.co.uk
Wear your poncho with slim-fitting trousers, skinny jeans, leggings, pencil skirts, and slim-fitting miniskirts paired with knee-high boots, ankle boots, and high heels for a chic look.
Go for interesting prints like plaids, Aztec designs, and subtle patterns, as long as the colour is subtle and the print is not too large.
Available @ www.very.co.uk
But remember when wearing a patterned poncho, keep the rest of your look simple.
Keep your accessories modest, especially if your poncho is your statement piece. Keep chunky jewellery to rings and or bracelets. Switch up your shoulder or sling bag for a clutch or a satchels.
A belt is your best option for a shapely silhouette.

The beauty of brown, with its earthy base, is an amazing and versatile colour. Ranging from dark rich chocolate, foamy latte, sweet caramel, fragrant coffee beans to warm honey. Classic and sophisticated, a perfect replacement for the timeless and elegant black.
The past season as well as the current season we are seeing deep brown on fringed jackets, rich caramel on wool coats, and hints of the colour mixed into ensembles, with accessories like leather bags and shoes. Wearing brown skilfully means that you can take your everyday pieces and making them feel a little bit more luxe and unexpected.
If black is you daily go to colour, then switching to brown can be a bit intimidating, but shades of brown like tan and beige can be fun to wear and perfect for any season.
If you rather stick to black and play it safe, you can still incorporating brown into your look with accessories in tan or light brown.

As with black and white, tan and camel are colour tones that looks great when worn from head to toe but if you are a bit on the fair skin side you should avoid wearing beige, and for medium skin tones its best to avoid lighter browns, as these shades will make you look washed out.

One of the biggest trends for autumn/winter 2015 is the ‘Ghillie’. You might not have heard of it, but you have definitely seen it before and you might possibly own a pair already. The ghillie is a type of shoe which laces up at the front, with no tongue originating from Scottish country dancing. Everyone from the Duke of Windsor, who was often seen sporting a pair of ghillies with argyle socks in the 1920’s to Naomi Campbell, who infamously wore purple wedge ghillies on the Vivienne Westwood catwalk where she took a tumble in 1993, have been seen wearing them. And on Lyst, you too can jump onto the band wagon and put a fashionable foot forward yourself, with current designers Isabel Marant and Aquazzura offering up some great styles.
Other great footwear available on the Lyst website are minimalist sneakers, functional flats, cosy boots and glamorous heels, which once added to your Lyst can be worked with other items you think will go nicely with your current wardrobe. It’s fun, free and very organised so start making your fashion shopping list today with Lyst.
Below are a couple of Lysts we put together on key Autumn fashion pieces and Halloween attire:
Written in collaboration with Lyst.
We are enjoying the mild Autumn weather so far, and it's by far one of the best fashion seasons! There is something effortless and yet graceful about Autumn and it definitely reflects in the trends.

The brief was to come up with a current punk theme, to set the collection off. Heavy sultry eyes, full lips and big hair inspired by Edwardian theme but deconstructed to look punk also the pin curls inspired by the movement of the clothing but remaining sharp.
The result is Avant Garde punk perfect to show case Helens collection.
Black intense smoky eye paired with a red lip, combined together to bring out the inner confidents and personality of every women! Not afraid to be different and stand out of the crowed. Delicate yet a show stopper. Every girls envy…She’s a Drama Queen!
Hair was made up of lots of hair prices and extensions and another look of barrelled curls and pin curls a vintage method turned punk for the day.

This weekend I am heading up the hair and makeup team at the annual Mahogany Bridal show taking place at The Grand Connaught Rooms in central London. Brides to be swam in from across the UK to attend this event that not only caters for the tradition bride but also the fashion conscious bride looking for a one off unique gown. The fashion show is always a special moment for guests as they witness the luxurious gowns in the flesh. My job is to make sure that the models showcasing these unique designer gowns look as beautiful as the gown itself.
Brides to be almost always opt for a natural, flattering makeup look that's pretty, elegant, sophisticated and brings out their best features on their special day. It is important as a makeup artist to understand the art of makeup. A woman’s wedding day is one of the most important days of her life, she puts her trust into the makeup artist to make her look her very best for her groom.
My Magic Product
As with any makeup look I do, whether it be a bride, a model an actress I always use one eye palette as a base.
Dior Eye Reviver
This is one of my favourite products in my pro kit and having only owned it around 6 months I sometimes wonder how I survived without it. It will be the only palette I need at the weekend to create stunning eye makeup added with a highlighting pigment.. The palette is like magic – containing a powder primer, 4 neutral eyeshadows and a cake eyeliner, the luminous neutral shades create a radiance of flawless eye makeup instantly brightening the eyes and making them look wider while creating perfect contouring structure. The results are beautiful.
Using Dior Eye Reviver and Mac pigment in shade universal mix to centre of the lid only.
Described on Louis Vuitton’s website as: “A modern and unexpected reinterpretation of a fashion show, this exhibition, following on from SERIES 1 and SERIES 2, invites visitors to discover Nicolas Ghesquière’s inspirations for his fourth ready-to-wear show as the Artistic Director for women’s collections at Louis Vuitton.”
I was completely blown away by the innovation and the thought that went behind Louis Vuitton Series 3. Every aspect of the design process was portrayed from the beginning roots of the Louis Vuitton design and creation process to modern day with all the technical advances that have been picked up along the way. Actual artisan from Vuitton were flown in to demonstrate the assembly process for Ghesquière’s and visitors were able to ask them questions, there was a virtual catwalk show and the ultimate Louis Vuitton wardrobe.

All in all a winning result!!
Beautiful and Damned is one of four big makeup trends this coming A/W from Mac Cosmetics.
The trick with this look is to make it look effortless but to also notice the precision in the lines. Think of a look that was done in the morning but still looks good by the evening, or a DIY job vs refined.
Black is your main colour. You can go creative with a smudged kohl on the eyes or heavy carbon colours of black with a black or berry tone precision lip, or a smudged lip with precision lines around the eyes. Team either look with luminous polished skin and you can’t go wrong.
Remember…. Black, effortless vs precision is the key to mastering one of tis seasons new makeup trend.

Your make-up on Halloween is just as essential as your outfit. As an added extra this Halloween I have decided to change the colour of my eyes for the night. This is to create the perfect spooky look. To change the colour of my dark brown eyes I used contact lenses from VisionDirect.co.uk. The colours I had to choose from were amethyst, turquoise and gemstone green.
I picked amethyst as purple is my favourite colour and amethyst is quite close to that. They looked amazing when I put them in, as my eyes are dark brown the contacts did not look that bright on top of my own eyes but the subtle amethyst colour on top of them gave them a Halloween glow. I was now ready to sort out my Halloween make-up. First I had to choose what I would go as, as I had been invited to few Halloween parties and my aim was to stand out and look my best.
After an hour of racking my brain and searching the Internet for ideas I decided on a vampy look with a spiders web to complement it. Who wouldn’t love a vampy look with a creepy spiders web? To achieve the right look I went to Chez Titine salon in Leamington Spa. Jane who is a qualified make-up artist always does an excellent job and I knew if I attempted the look myself things could go terribly wrong. With Jane’s help I was on the way to a Halloween look I could be proud of.
1. Jane started the look by dabbing on white face paint to all areas of my face (this was done using a cloth).
2. Black eye shadow was then brushed onto my forehead, cheekbones and chin.
3. Using a black eye pencil Jane filled in my eyebrows so they would stand out.
4. Jane then concentrated on my eyes using a black eye pencil to draw on my top and bottom eyelids and then finally flicking the pencil slightly at the end for a winged effect.
5. Black eye shadow was then added to the eyeliner to make my eyes pop. This was added to both the top and bottom of my eyelids.
6. Using black eyeliner Jane proceeded to draw on the spider web above and below my eye. Jane referred to a picture as she did this.
7. My lips then had black lip liner drawn around them.
8. Red lip liner was then used to draw inside of the black lip liner.
9. The last step was the colouring in of my lips with red lipstick.
In the picture posted above you can see me without the contacts, then with the contacts and white face paint and then the completed look.

Plan Your Look The Night Before
Planning your outfits the night before safes you loads of time in the morning trying to figure out what to wear. To make planning your outfits even easier you will need a super organised closet.
Organizing Your Closet
One of the best ways to organize your closet is to keep all of your pieces together and colour coded, meaning tops together followed by pants, jeans, skirts and dresses.
Try and keep your shoes in one place and your tights and socks in one drawer. Jewellery on a stand or in a compartment drawer. Scarves and belts on racks.
Keeping your wardrobe organized gives you more control of your clothes and accessories which makes planning your daily looks stress-free.
Seasonal Pieces And Trends
Once you know what it in your closet you can identify what is missing, according to the seasons or specific trends and styles that you like.
When you are planning your look according to current trends, do not do the copycat version especially if you are using fashion magazines as a guide. Rather pair pieces in a way that makes it your own and select details from the current fashion trends that accentuate your personal style and turn it into something unique, and completely you.
This would be the last step in planning your look, pairing your shoes, handbag and jewellery with your outfit pieces. Dress up simple pieces with bold shoes and accessories.
Categories your accessorize according to;
• Classic accessories: pearl or diamond-stud earrings, silk scarf, leather clutch and classic black pumps
• Glamorous accessories: chandelier earrings, bib necklace, large cocktail ring, crystal-embellished clutch, oversized sunglasses and sky-high heels
• Playful accessories: chunky jewellery, boho bag, and headbands
• Edgy accessories: thick cuff bracelet, choker necklace, studded handbag and black leather booties
• Workday accessories: delicate necklace, classic watch, large satchel or shoulder bag and kitten heels
• Casual accessories: candy-coloured bracelets, cross-body bag, floppy hats and espadrille sandals
This makes planning a look easy so if you a 9-5 office kind of girl. Your go to combination would be the tailored pants and Blouse. This outfit combination can take your from day to night. Your capsule wardrobe should at least have one pair of tailored pants and a silky blouse. You can re-style this combination by wearing your blouse buttoned up and with a cardigan for a simple office-friendly look. For a night time look and then unbutton the top buttons of your blouse and add some bling. Alter the, at the office look, by switching between heeled and flat shoes.
Being proposed to is an extremely special moment for a lady. Like most little girls it is probably a moment that they have been fantasizing about their entire childhood through to adult life. This is why everything about the proposal should be perfect down to the last detail. You have got to make sure that the engagement ring that you pick for your future wife is unique and shows her and the world exactly how you feel about her.
This is the ring that she will proudly show to her family and friends, so it needs to be as beautiful as she is. This is the reason why I want my future husband to have my engagement ring custom made at Bond Jewellery and Diamonds. Their process starts with a face-to-face consultation in one of the offices at Bond Jewellery and Diamonds.
If you are unsure of what you are looking for then you will be guided and educated at your consultation. You will be talked through the different styles, types, metals and diamonds. No style is off limits at Bond Jewellery and Diamonds. They are willing to guide you through the process, if that is all you need.
At the moment Bond Jewellery and Diamonds are in the process of designing an engagement ring for Jake who is having it made for his girlfriend Natalie. Jake knew what type of ring he wanted, a platinum band with a round brilliant centre stone, 4-claw set on diamond set shoulders. After Jamie discussed the piece with Jake they spoke about the characteristics of diamonds and the 4 C’s, which can affect a diamonds value.
Bond Jewellery and Diamonds make sure the client is informed every step of the way. Last but not least the budget was discussed so the sourcing of diamonds could begin. So for all of you that are lucky in love and ready to take the next step with your loved one you should visit Bond Jewellery and Diamonds. Even if you are not ready for marriage they provide jewellery for all the other occasions in your life.
Make sure you all stay tuned as the next stage for Jake at Bond Jewellery and Diamonds is the design stage, we will follow his magical story right through to the proposal.

I was kindly gifted a pouch and wash bag from Lola and Gilbert. The pouch reads; this bag contains my face and the wash bag reads; it’s not easy being this damn pretty. These are two statements that I can firmly stand by. Lola and Gilbert are a London based company that is owned by Natalie and Kristina and they named the company after their beloved pets. They both design and hand screen print what I think are hilarious sayings onto canvas zipper bags which can be used as make-up bags, wash bags, bikini bags or passport holders, the possibilities are endless.
As Lola and Gilbert print each bag individually you are able to personalise them. You could have your favourite quote printed on them or even your name. I have told Claire who is one of my best friends all about what Lola and Gilbert has to offer as she is getting married soon and think that the pouches would make perfect presents for the bridesmaids. (I am of course one of the bridesmaids). You can even choose your fonts, sizes and colours. The choice is entirely yours.
My daughter is turning 13 in January and having a sleepover with a few friends and I personally think having their names put on pouches would make a fabulous parting gift. What girl wouldn’t want a pouch to put their prized possessions in?
Whether you need a bag to put your bits and bobs in or looking for a gift for a friend go online and check out Lola and Gilbert, you wont be disappointed.

My eyes have been looking fabulous this week, as I have been reviewing Eye of Horus products. It is an Australian colour cosmetics brand that promises to bring out your inner Goddess. Eye of Horus products are not tested on animals they contain natural ingredients and are paraben free. All products either come in gold or black stylish packaging. I was more than pleased with each product that I tested.
• Dynasty brow define-this is a thin make-up pen used for filling in your brows and giving you perfect arches as an end result. (My colour was medium/dark). One of the ingredients in Castor oil, which enhances your brows condition and growth.
• Babylon brown liquid define-this glides smoothly onto your eyes to give a loud but perfect line. It is also smudge proof and will stay on all day.
• Goddess smoky eye pencil-this was my favourite, I used this to achieve black smoky eyes. I used the pencil part to draw on the lines and then used the other end to smudge, ending up with perfect smoky eyes.
• Eye of Horus Goddess mascara-ingredients include Moringa oil that was found in King Tuts tomb. This make-up is based on ancient Egyptian formulas and is said to have beautifying powers by the Gods. It made my lashes longer, thicker and they did not smudge or clump together.
• Goddess smudge proof eye pencil-easily glides on, looks fantastic and does not smudge.
In my ultimate Goddess promotional pack I also received a custom cosmetic sharpener and a free promotional gift. Eye of Horus products help my eyes make a statement and it really has revealed my inner Goddess.

A perfectly tailored suit is not just professional but makes you look polished and stylish whether it’s for work or fun. Suits are back on trend as seen at the Topshop Unique -Working Girl runway show at this year’s London Fashion Week. So get your suit on ladies!!
Here are some of my favourite suit looks.
Mix and match textures and prints for a more luxurious look. Pairing texture like a tweed or wool with a silk or satin adding depth and interest to your office outfit.
Long gone are those dated, retro boxy suit shapes, keep it fresh and contemporary by going for more modern cuts. Like this Etienne Deroeux trouser suit with its wide leg trousers and trendy modified blazer for an updated twist.
Available @ www.laredoute.co.uk
Go beyond the basic black and opt for darker, richer colours for autumn and winter or select shades like charcoal grey, navy, brown or even plum to add that pop of colour for a sophisticated, work-appropriate attire.
Keep it stylish and super sexy with a tuxedo style suit paired with a pussy-bow blouse and black stilettos.

As I have numerous family, friends and Godchildren, I have already started my Christmas shopping. I do not want to be one those people who has to run around panicking, buying what ever gifts are left in the shops on Christmas Eve. In my search for unique presents I came across Hippie Chic while looking online. They sell clothes, jewellery and accessories.
Hippie Chic gets their inspiration for the items they make from the world that we live in. This could be fashion, nature, art or life. They strive to give you something that you have not seen before, something very special. When I was looking through the all the products that they had online I came across a Lily Stone watch which had a tan leather strap that I thought would be the perfect gift for a friend. The watches face told the time using Roman numerals and was gold in colour, I instantly fell in love with it. At only 35 pounds it was a steal.
I also spotted a Boho watch and bracelet set that I know my Mother would love and was an equally good price at 22 pounds. If your family and friends are not watch people (I know a few people who are sick of people asking them the time) then you should check out their selection of earrings. When you have looked at the Braye-metallic half moon tribal earrings, the Chari-matte gold plated arrowhead pendant earrings or the Cuanza- blue and matte gold beaded diamond earrings, I am sure that you will end up getting a few Christmas presents out of the way like I did or even end up treating yourself.

This fashion week season is well underway having started in New York and soon to be in London in just a couple of days time. We all know that fashion week season is focused on the clothes being showcased from all the fabulous designers around the globe but a women's guilty pleasure is that we can't help but admire all the makeup looks created on the models each season.
One of the most iconic makeup artists in the world of makeup and present at fashion week every season creating beautifully designed looks whether it be natural to creative is Pat McGrath. Pat McGrath’s name is no secret to anyone in the business, her talent is beyond incredible and each season I look forward to seeing her new makeup designs. Makeup trends soon spread across the globe each season based on the key looks she creates and the new season will be no different.
McGrath’s main focus on all models across all designers she keyed makeup looks for this season at NYFW was to keep the skin soft and dewy. Gleaming, glowing skin with well defined structured brows were key for all models. She then adapted looks to suit each individual designers designs.
For Jenny Peckham, McGrath chose to use a turquoise eyeliner in a shape to suit the individual models eyes, she then teamed up with either a nude or bold red lip.
At Diane Von Furstenburg, she chose shades of turquoise and blue-greens to create a jewel toned eye again keeping the lips nude teamed with the gleaming skin.
Victoria Beckham’s models were kept a little more simple concentrating on the glowing skin teamed with either a nude lip or a pop of orange-red lips.
While at Givenchy she changed the direction slightly by adding a wash of mauve shadow around all of the eye. And keeping the brows light.
Not only were pastel shades of turquoise, green and blue used on the eyes in Pat McGrath’s designs it seemed to be everywhere supported with a nude or orange tone red lip.
So now you're ahead of one of the makeup trends at NYFW SS16 why not head down to the makeup counters and try some shades for yourself.
We all know that it’s is often the little extra’s that makes all the difference and nothing adds an extra dose of style like a standout accessory.
This season’s accessories are no different and will instantly upgrade your outfit. Here are our four of my favourite trends for this season.
1. Pom Pom
Fluffy and bouncy a quirky addition to any look
Burgundy pom pom heel @ New look – www.newlook.com
Black fur bobble @ www.primark.com
2. Faux Fur
Faux fur is chic, practical and in demand and with a plush, stylish faux fur collar, you’ll never have to sacrifice fashion for the sake of warmth. This multitasking accessory can be worn as a luxuriously soft scarf or hat.

3. The Extra-Long Scarf
A long-length scarf will add instant trend to your look. Add sparkle to it with a standout brooch. Wear it tucked into a belt or loose around your neck.

4. The Bucket Bag
Destined to be autumn’s” IT” bag, the classic bucket bag gets a refined, minimalist update. An absolute essential for the girl on the go. I love black and white grid duffle bag from Primark a definite must to any handbag collection.

In our 20’s and 30’s ageing is the last thing on our mind but once you hit the BIG 40 those ageing concerns starts to creep in. So instead of trying to hide your age by covering up, here are some simple tips on how to master the techniques, textures and colours to keep you looking radiant and youthful.
Take It Easy
An overly made-up skin will make you look so much older, so take it easy with the make- up and if you have dark circles or some sun spots dot a tiny bit of concealer on the inner corners of your eyes or on those spots and not all over your face. The more skin you show the better, especially if it is well-hydrated skin. This will give you more youthful looking complexion than a heavily covered complexion.
Switch To A Lightweight Base
As we age our skin is prone to discolouration and dullness, so look for a foundation that illuminates as well as gives good coverage. Avoid heavy consistency foundations that will cake in your fine lines this will age you further. Tinted moisturizers with luminescent particles or lightweight liquid foundations are best for lined skin because unlike pressed powder, which settles into the wrinkles and makes the skin look even older that what it is, a light-reflective liquid formula creates the illusion of a glowing complexion. Also blending a lightweight foundation or CC Cream evenly into your face and neck with lightweight concealer to shadow problem prone areas, like around your nostrils and under your eyes.
To apply foundation flawlessly, you can use either a damp sponge or a foundation brush to dot it all over your face in tiny amounts, use loose translucent powder, on your face avoiding the eye area, to set it.
Open Your Eyes
Eyelids tend to sag with age, but with clever contouring you can disguise a lack of definition. Curling your eyelashes will lift sagging eyes, and a volumising mascara will thicken your lashes that have grown sparse with age.
Curling your eyelashes and adding a glimmer shadow as a highlighter are the easiest way you can make your eyes look bigger. Work a soft, matte shadow into your socket line to add depth but avoid pale and glittery products that can settle into fine lines and dull your complexion. As far as mascara go for the blackest black mascara you can find as it will make the whites of your eyes look clearer and whiter.
Thick and full brows can take years off your face and because your brows lifts and defines your face you want to fill them in to make them look fuller. So if your eyebrows are thin, use an eyebrow kit to fill in any gaps and add structure with an eyebrow gel. Select an eyebrow pencil in a natural colour like blond or brown and draw feathered lines to fake fuller brows.
Your natural lip line can begin to fade as you age and this will make your lipstick bleed so tracing your lip line with a clear lip liner can help lipstick stay in place. Avoid matte textured lipstick, which will shrink lips further. Instead, apply a dab of gloss to the centre of your lower lip to fake a well-hydrated, plump pout. Mid-tone coral and red lipsticks look good on most skin tones regardless of age, but steer clear of very pale pinks, dark aubergine and brown tones that flatten the mouth and pile on the years.
Blusher can knock off the years in an instant so add a creamy blush into the highest point of your cheekbones to create the illusion of structure. Luminous blush will bounce light off your face softening the appearance of fine lines and adding a rosy flush.
Fountain of Youth: Restoring, Repairing and Rejuvenating.
FOY rejuvenating Night Cream, Moisturising Day Cream and Eye Contour Gel and Anti Cellulite Gel. Four beautifully packaged products, great consistency.
Moisturising Day Cream
FOY is designed for mature aging skin, basically anyone over the age of 25 but for me the day cream was not rich enough. My skin absorbs quickly and I felt that I needed to keep reapplying in order for my skin to feel fully moisturized.
Rejuvenating Night Cream
I liked the rejuvenating night cream as it was richer and left my skin feeling great all night long.
I decided to give the gel to a friend who has cellulite to test out and see if it made any difference on her skin. She tried it for a few weeks and said the smell was great, the texture was amazing. When applied the gel created a tingling sensation. No visible improvement was noticed after two weeks of usage. Everyone’s skin reacts differently so this does not mean the product did not work but maybeon her skin type it needed to be used for a little longer to see any results.
Eye Contour Gel
My FOY top pick has to be the Eye Contour Gel. As a sufferer of dark, itchy, tired eyes I am always looking for the perfect gels to moisturise the eye area and this was perfect! Out of all the products this is the one I would definitely invest in.

We all know that looking good takes work and to achieve that we need to work out to make our bodies to be better, faster and stronger. To obtain a healthy body and achieve the best during our work outs we also need to take care of our bodies. That means having the right tools, a balanced diet and adequate restorative time ensuring that we get the most of our workouts.
Look The Part
Did you know that your workout gear can have a direct impact on your health that is why slipping into a new pair trainers can immediately make you feel healthier before you even begin to break a sweat. Old, worn shoes are one of the most common causes of injury especially if you are a runner. Always consider your foot type, is it flat, neutral or high-arched, when buying your trainers. Also pick clothing that is slim-fitted and designed to absorb sweat making you more comfortable when you run or workout.
Track Your Progress
You can track your progress with a wide range of fitness apps that monitor your activity levels and advise on your diet.
Fuel Your Fitness
Make the most out of your fitness routine by giving your body the fuel it needs so drink 500ml of water to avoid dehydration an hour before an intense workout. It is also a good idea to fill your body up with slow burning carbohydrates, before your workout. Feeling low on energy before your workout, eat a date or a handful of raisins as they are fast-burning natural sugars that will give you a quick energy-boost.
Workout Boosting Supplement
We all know that a balanced diet is important when it comes to health and fitness, but supplements can give you the essential ingredients that you are lacking. If you’re athletic you want to include Vitamin B in your diet to help your body break down carbohydrates, whilst Vitamin C will help you metabolise them and protect your immune system. Vitamin D will assist your body to absorb calcium, promoting healthier bones.
Recharge Is Important
Your body needs to recover after intense exercise, so allow it adequate time to repair. Protect your muscles with a supplement that will increase your endurance and protects your cells. Fresh ginger in boiling water are a great natural remedy for aching muscles or try a spoon of turmeric, a natural anti-inflammatory.
Before taking any supplements do speak to a health adviser for advice on which supplements are the best for you.
Staying fit and eating healthy is the basis of living a healthy and long life but as we get older our bodies change, requiring us to adapt our workouts accordingly.
During your 20’s
If you are used to regular exercise in your teenage years you are more likely to carry on this habits into your twenties. Now while your body is still strong in your 20’s you would still need to strengthen and lengthen your muscles as well as boost your metabolism with strength training. Circuit training is a great way of combining cardiovascular activity with toning. Try to do at least 30 minutes of aerobic activity, five times a week.
During your 30’s, your metabolism slows down making it harder to drop those few inches of body fat. Your hectic work and personal life might make regular exercise during these years difficult but it is still important to fit exercise into your daily routine. So try to create a routine that balances high-intensity aerobic activity like interval training with strength training. Join a weekly yoga or Pilates class, which will help with lengthen muscles and will correct bad posture.
It is during 40’s that you lay groundwork for good future health. Invest in a pedometer to ensure that you are walking at least a minimum of 10,000 steps a day. Do this alongside a daily cardio exercise routine with one a rest day. Also include resistance training into your schedule. If you’re anxious about lifting weights, why not hire a trainer or join a gym class, always be sure to be safe when doing weight training as you do not want to injure yourself.
Many Women experience hormonal changes during their 50’s, which can cause an increase in fat around your torso area. You can look after your waistline by working your core with a stability ball, or sign up for a yoga class that will exercise your mind and body simultaneously. Exercising with low-weight dumbbells will protect your muscles and joints, complementing your cardio schedule.
60’s and up
Women in their “golden age” must take extra good care of their bones. You need to challenge your but not exhausted. Try swimming and aqua-aerobics which are a low-impact workout to help you stay toned. If you suffer from joint pains then daily walking and for balance which is essential at this age try Tai chi will improve your strength and flexibility.
I am sure that we all remember having our very first tattoo.
Being told that it would be on our bodies forever and imagine how it would look when we were older. If you were anything like me at a young age then I am sure that you went straight ahead and had one anyway. You did not care about the warnings because in your head you were 100% sure that you would treasure your inked artwork forever. I do not know how long forever lasted for you but for me forever was a week. I hated the heart I had tattooed on my arm but lucky enough for me it could be covered up wearing certain clothing.
I say lucky for me because unlike my friend I never had the bright idea of having a skull tattoo on my neck. For my friend Rachel this has ruined her life. When she goes to job interviews she gets turned down because of this. Who wants to hire a lady to be secretary with a skull tattoo on her neck? From her experiences I would say no one. It really is a shame as she would be absolutely stunning if she were to wear a turtleneck at all times.
I think Rachel’s luck is finally in as we have just found out about London and Laser Tattoo Removal. PicoSure Tattoo Removal has been seen on channel 5’s, Spike TV’s Tattoo Disasters UK. As this is a faster and more effective way of removing tattoos’, it makes the whole process cheaper and will not require as many treatments to remove your unwanted ink. In only four sessions you can have your skin back to the way God/your Mother intended.
PicoSure even removes blues and greens and they have over 20 years experience in laser treatments. Both consultations and patch tests are free and finance is available. If you are regretting having a boyfriends/best friends name inked on your skin contact Pulse light clinic in London to discuss your options, prices range from 70 pounds and up.

This is an issues that most women have to deal with at one time or another, muffins tops!! No matter how well you take care of your body and how often you go to the gym. We love to shop as much as we love finding a bargain, whether it is on the high street or online. But it is that love for shopping that often gets us in trouble because once we start we cannot stop.
With the new season upon us and the summer sales a big temptation we will be hitting the shops and filling up our closets with all the newest and latest trends and summer sale bargains. But many times we end up spending much more money then what we budgeted for and ends up with an overflowing wardrobe of things we do not need.
So before you hit the shops, here are a few tips to shop efficiently and to create stylish outfits saving you money and time.
Start by shopping online, make a list of all the new season items that you like or want to buy. Then shop around, you will find that many of the online shops like Romwe, Choies and Shein have similar pieces at different prices.
Buying pieces that are a bit more expensive, shop for it in-store that way you can try the items on and get a feel for how it looks on you. Sometimes online photos can be really inaccurate, so shopping in-store allows you to touch the fabric, look at its movement, and see how things fit on your body.
Save money and time by making a list of what you want and where to buy it. This saves you from walking around all day going from one shop to the other and “impulse buying”
Three key points to remember;
• Shop your style personality
• Shop your body shape
• Shop your colours
Before you step into a store ask yourself;
Does this shop offer items that suits my style personality? If you are more of a stiletto and bodycon dress kinda girl, then GAP is defiantly not the store for you
Does the shop offers items that suits my body type? The great thing is that now most shops offer clothes that suits all body types from petite, to curvy.
Does this shop offer items in colours that suit my colouring? The bigger the store, the more chance you have of finding your items in colours that suits your colouring.
Deciding what to wear to work can often be a headache for many of us because you are often torn between wearing the usual office outfit staples or dressing in something more glam and chic.
The difficult part is that you do not want to look too plain and simple, with the basics but you also do not want to look too casual and relaxed with more trendy pieces either.
If you that is you in the morning read on for my work wear tips for the stylish office girls.
Do not get rid of your staples
Yes!! They are boring and simple but you do not have to wear them as they are. Your crisp white button down shirt may scream Plain Jane when worn alone but when dressed up with a crop top or a vest or adding interesting and statement accessories it can give you an entirely new, chic look. So do stock up on those basic staples and use them as your base to building stylish outfits for the office.

Balance is key
There are so many new silhouettes on trend right now and the great thing about these new silhouettes is that they are wearable and you can include them into your work wear. Culottes with is loose and flowy silhouette and because of that makes them a chic option for a more polished look for work. Pair it with a more pieces that are more structured silhouette like a polished a blazer or a crisp button down.
Images Source Pinterest
Opt for sleeves
Sleeveless pieces tend to look more casual although there are some exceptions such as sleeveless shift dresses and sleeveless collared shirts. So rather opt for pieces with sleeves.
Make your daily black and white look by livening it up with colour
Work wear are often black and white but you can dress up even the most simplest to look more interesting by adding splashes of colour. Or by switching black and white with grey. But do keep in mind to wear colours suits your skin tone and brings out her best and fits in with your daily work wear basics.

Work and skimpy are not a good match
Keep it stylish and avoid off shoulder tops, sheer dresses and to short mini dresses Yes they are all very chic and on trend but a corporate office environment is not the place to wear these street style pieces. Remember if it shows too much skin it is an automatic no-no. You can add pieces like a trench to add a layer of length. Skirt hemlines should finish above or below the knee, as it will make your legs look slimmer and longer.

New York City
The Lexington NYC (Photo by Eva Fydrych/ Fashion Studio Magazine)
With New York Fashion Week just around the corner, it is high time to think about the hotel accommodation for September. While there are many luxury hotels in the city, only some of them offer a truly memorable experience and combine both comfort and style.
One of my favourite properties, ultra-modern YOTEL, has already been featured in the “Fashion Diary - New York”. You can read more about this funky hotel here.
Below you can find three more options that I would recommend for a stylish stay in New York City.
ELEMENT BY WESTIN

During my recent trip to New York, I had a chance to stay at a very interesting hotel - Element New York Times Square West. Inspired by nature and created to be an oasis of natural light, this eco-friendly hotel is a perfect place to unwind and relax(especially during busy events such as the Fashion Week).
Unique design elements of the hotel include flooring and furniture made from recycled fabrics, wall art mounted on a base made from recycled tires, low VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint to improve air quality, energy efficient light bulbs, and low-flow faucets.
Each room features a flowing, functional layout with multi-use furniture which allows you to adjust the space to your own needs and make the most out of your stay. Nature-inspired colour palette encourages relaxation. According to some design experts, such as Barbara Huelat, "exposure to natural materials and images have the benefit of reminding humans of their evolution and connections to nature".
Bringing earth tones into the hotel interior provides a soothing, calming environment that promotes the sense of well-being.

One of the hotel's main attractions is a rooftop patio overlooking the bustlingMidtown Manhattan and a fully equipped gym, where you can maintain your healthy lifestyle when away from home. Element Times Square also offers complimentary Bike Lending Program, available on first-come, first-served basis.
There is also a really innovative service which is becoming more and more popular with the hotel guests. "We offer a special stationary bike in our fitness centre that has a pedal-powered generator. This lets our guests charge their tablet or smart phone as they exercise." - explains Lynn Woods, Assistant General Manager.

See you in New York! :)
If you need a hairband that will not get wet when you are at the beach or even at your local swimming pool then invisibobble is the hairband for you. Invisibobble is a traceless hair ring, what this means for you is that after you remove them from your hair, whether your hair is straight, curly or frizzy it will not leave a kink or mark in your hair. Even after hours of use it will leave no trace of being there.
At long last we can finally say goodbye to the kinks that we would have to spend extra time on before leaving the house. Unlike other hairbands invisibobble will not leave you with hair breakage, which I know we could all do without. I am using invisibobbles in my weave at the moment and it does not tug at the hair like other bands I have used in the past. I pay too much for my weave to have it pulled out when I remove my hairband.
Invisibobbles look like the old telephone cords and come in several different colours. I was lucky enough to be gifted with a few pink, yellow, black and clear ones. Even after the invisibobble is stretched it will always return to its natural shape so you are getting value for money when you buy them. You will not have to replace them on a weekly basis like I had to with other bands.
My favourite fact about the invisibobble is that they do not get soaked in water, one thing I cannot stand is a soggy hairband. I now use invisibobbles when I go for a run, go swimming and for most of my daily activities.
You can purchase invisibobbles online or from Boots, Topshop and Urban Outfitters from 4 pounds for 3.

H&M are introducing 16 new denim styles made from recycled cotton from textiles collected in the Garment Collecting initiative in H&M stores. The aim is to reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry, by limiting waste that goes to landfill and saving on natural resources used in the production of fabric.
This initiative by H&M’s is to create a closed loop for fashion “Creating a closed loop for textiles, in which unwanted clothes can be recycled into new ones, will not only minimize textile waste, but also significantly reduce the need for virgin resources as well as other impacts fashion has on our planet, “says Karl-Johan Persson, CEO of H&M.
Since 2013, H&M customers worldwide have been able to bring unwanted clothes from any brand into its stores as part of its Garment Collecting Initiative. So far, over 14,000 tonnes have been collected globally.
Right now, H&M is able to use 20% recycled cotton from collected clothes, and is investing in new technology to increase this share without losing quality. H&M has a target to increase the number of garments made with at least 20% recycled fabric by 300% compared to 2014.
The new denim pieces, which will be available in-stores and online in September, are all made from recycled cotton and organic cotton, with three styles for women ranging from skinny to distressed ‘girlfriend’ jeans, plus a denim jacket, flared dungarees and a denim jumpsuit.
For men, there is a zip-up denim jacket, two distressed slim leg styles, and a pair of joggers in coated denim.
The kid’s pieces include a zip-up hoodie with cute animal ears, a stretch jeans sequined at the knee, and a street style hooded shirt, with distressed jeans.

It is time to update your morning beauty routine for winter
The last thing we want to be thinking about is winter with its dark and gloomy day’s But with the change in outside temperatures and the use of indoor heating can leave our skin feeling dull and dry.
We might not be supper excited about winter, but just as we start the “summer skin” prep early we can start making small changes now to prep our skin for winter.
Start the day with a glass of water
Hydrate and moisturise from the inside out, is an important part of your beauty routine for winter.
Starting your day with a tall glass of lukewarm water, with lemon juice and cayenne pepper will not only hydrate but also flush out toxins and give you an energy boost.
Start your day with exercise and an ‘instant facial’ instead of coffee
Now I know that coffee is the number one kick start to any ones day. 3-4 drops clove essential oil
1/2 cup jojoba, almond or olive oil

Remember that moisturizers are best applied to wet, slightly towel pat dry skin as the moisture from the water will help to absorb lotion faster into skin and keep it moisturised all day long.
