ROKA London: Colourful Rainbow For Gloomy Days
British weather can be unpredictable all year round and this B-Corp company knows it well! ROKA London was born on a rainy day out of the blue to keep your belongings (and those of your closest friends) safely dry with its line of colourful bags and accessories. You can expect bags, totes and backpacks that instantly cheer up your day with a huge array of bright colours. A shoulder bag like Farringdon (£39.95) features high functionality that is equally highly sustainable. Canvas bags are made from recycled plastic bottles and nylon bags come from post-consumer and textile production waste; both plastic and fabric scraps would otherwise fill the landfill. These repurposed materials are then treated with an environmentally friendly C0 water-repellent coat to make each bag withstand the harshest conditions of the Island. Pick the colour that matches your state of mind and stroll with a Camden, a Paddington or a Trafalgar. Each piece has something about London where this story began.

(UN)POLISHED: Raw & Unique Jewellery
A piece of jewellery is a statement gift for special occasions like Christmas, but when handcrafted its preciousness levels up. (UN)POLISHED is the destination for those seeking creations of skilled artists that cannot be found in any other shop. This online gallery with a physical showroom in London is the house of selected Polish independent designers who craft sustainable and handmade jewellery with precious metals and natural stones. In series or one-of-a-kind, these jewels have the striking personality of their designers and convey powerful emotions in a raw state.
Among these creations, you can find KOPERNICUS by KARGUL.TK. Inspired by the celestial bodies of the infinite cosmos and the Earth, the KOPERNICUS collection consists of different earring styles, necklaces and bracelets handcrafted in Poland with a zero-waste approach using gold-plated 925 Sterling silver, ribbon and natural Baltic amber. The minimal geometries frame a warm heart of amber, the centrepiece of each piece.
Find KOPERNICUS by KARGUL.TK and many designers' collections online at (UN)POLISHED.
MONPURE: Where Healthy Hair Starts
Give the gift of luscious hair with MONPURE and its hi-tech haircare range. This pending B-Corp company has the health of your scalp in mind because from a healthy scalp, stronger hair grows. Its formulations are developed by a team of dermatologists and scientists, driven by a holistic idea of haircare with natural extracts and skin-loving ingredients sustainably selected across Europe. MONPURE haircare feels like skincare for the scalp, a complete routine with treatments like clarifying scalp masks (£48.00) and follicle-boosting serums (£83.00). You can expect cruelty-free treatments that are free from sulphates, silicones and parabens with a delicate fragrance and the power of hyaluronic acid, argan oil, shea butter and vegan silk peptides.

Olverum: Essentially Luxurious
Olverum is an intimate story of passion and dedication for essential oils and their extraordinary benefits. It was the dawn of the 30s and harsh times were about to come for Europe, when the Klein family took on the challenge to replicate and supply their favourite spa with their signature essential oil. The trials succeeded in a luxury blend that circulated among the family's friends before being halted by the war. Klein's essential bath oil revives today in Olverum Bath Oil (£28). This stellar brand, loved by the Royal family, aims to take care of body and mind, whether it is to reinvigorate, calm or stabilise body, mind and soul. Olverum Bath Oil uses natural extracts known for their therapeutic properties, combined to elevate your spirit and bath time, relieve muscles and promote a night of restful sleep.
Olverum Bath Oil, skincare, body care and ritual lines are cruelty-free and use the finest natural extracts sourced in an ethical and environmentally friendly way around the world.

Emolyne: True Colour Match
Create an on-point lip and nail set for your makeup-obsessed friend (or yourself) with Emolyne. Tired of unmatching shades, Emolyne Ramlow decided to find the solution by herself with her eponymous brand. Born in Uganda, raised in Denmark and living in London, Emolyne created a world of possibilities with her collection of 15 glam reds and 15 fully flattering nudes to compliment every skin tone, undertone and ethnicity. Each shade is named after a city or a country in Africa, her continent of origin, and it is interpreted in hyper-pigmented semi-matte lipsticks (£23), lip liners (£15), lip glosses (£17) and nail polishes available as individual items and ready-to-give kits ranging from £39. Emolyne invites you to find your beauty destination from Fez to Cape Town with the twin nuance for both lips and nails. The perfect co-ord is as classic, sophisticated and hard to find, but with Emolyne you can find your match made in heaven.

Christmas is only around the corner, and you might be one of those people who is stuck with what to buy. Luckily, one of the best items to buy when it comes to Christmas is jewellery. Now do not assume that it is going to be too easy either.

You can buy both expensive jewellery and cheap jewellery, depending on how much you want to spend. Here is a quick guide on the jewellery gifts that you can buy this year.
As soon as you suggest jewellery as a potential gift, people assume that jewellery is some of the most expensive. There are many high street stores out there that sell cheap jewellery sets: for example, you can get a pack of three rings from an H&M store. With this present, you can give the option of wearing one ring or layer them up. Layering has been a popular 2021 jewellery trend that can be worn in different colours and styles.
Ph. Camilla Carvalho, Unsplash
Chic jewellery can either be expensive or on the cheaper side; it can either be a big or a small present. Everything comes down to the price you are looking to spend.
There are hundreds of chic jewellery brands that you can choose from, so you will not be stuck when it comes to purchasing Christmas presents. Some of the brands that sell great jewellery are Tada & Toy, Astrid & Miyu, Daisy London, Edge of Ember and Monica Vinader. There is plenty of iconic chic jewellery that every woman should own for their day-to-day jewellery!

It is a jewellery trend that likes to come and go. However, styles do change each time they make a return. Colourful jewellery can also hold a cultural meaning, as well as ranging from simple colourful beads to beautifully vintage emerald rings. Yes, gemstones are a little more on the expensive side; however, they make a great gift for someone that you love.
Furthermore, you can buy a gemstone that has a connection with the person. For example, if they are born in January, then buy them a garnet necklace or ring. This is because garnets are the birthstone for that month. You can also link the gem to their favourite colour. Many gemstones come in a range of different shades and the specific colour can change the price of the jewel, so you should consider this note.
Ph. Cornelia Ng, Unsplash
Again, this is more expensive but it can be a tear-jerker. If you are willing to go big for your loved one, there are some great brands to choose from. Dior and Channel are just two brands that you might have already heard, just make sure you have done enough saving up for this present. If you like to spend big from time to time at Christmas, there are many premium jewellery brands to pick on top of the two we have just mentioned.
Another premium style that you could consider as a gift is pearl jewellery: another popular autumn jewellery trend that is going strong.
Jewellery To Last A Lifetime
If you are going to spend a lot of money on a present, you need to make sure that it is going to last a lifetime. Having the potential to be passed down through generations is important for jewels, similar to how Kate Middleton was given the ring of Princess Diana. High-quality gemstones and metals will be a gift that everybody will appreciate.
High-quality gemstones and metals will be a gift that everybody will appreciate. Luxury jewellery is for those who have been with their partner for a long time and see them being with them until their dying days. Brands such as Harry Winston, Cartier, Buccellati or Van Cleef & Arpels are some of the most luxurious brands on the market. Choosing any of these will last for generations ahead!
Ph. Alex Chambers, Unsplash
Vintage jewellery is another option that many people have got on board with for numerous reasons. For starters, vintage jewellery has been around for years and many people might have worn the same piece. Not to mention the gemstones that a vintage jewel comes with. If you are planning on proposing on Christmas day, then consider a vintage engagement ring.
As you may already know, the world is facing some issues regarding global warming. There are many ways to do your bit in saving the planet, and buying vintage jewellery is one of them. The reason for this is that you are not supporting major brands that are continuously mining for raw materials contributing to CO2 emissions. There are many great ways to source vintage jewellery but remember to double-check it.
There are many gifts that you can buy a loved one around Christmas time with perfumes being an easy go-to present. If you want to spend a little extra, jewellery is the one this year. If you ever are struggling to get your loved ones a Christmas gift, find out what they need. However, if you are going to buy them jewellery, make sure you do your research first. Find out what their favourite material is, what type of earrings they prefer, whether or not the gemstones are real with a certificate.
Radley London announced Katie Piper as their final Women of Spirit for 2021 ahead of World Kindness Day which took place on the 13th of November.
There was a time when a chocolate advent calendar was bringing so much joy with its simple pleasures. The grown-up you love to indulge in a different kind of advent calendar which is slightly more expensive and less caloric: beauty advent calendars.
In honour of World Smile Day The Fragrance Shop hosted an event loaded with all the positive energy and affirmations we are sometimes simply lacking in our hectic everyday life.
Under the motto ‘Spray a Little Happiness’, a beautifully aesthetic, calm and safe environment aka the ‘Happy House’ was constructed to showcase various new perfume releases alongside different live events the attendees were free to partake in.

The saying ‘good vibes only’ was reflected in every little detail and not only plastered on numerous signs on the walls throughout the premises. Early risers were able to start their day off with an exclusive workout conducted by professional fitness instructor Mr Oliver Lee. After boosting all those endorphins, it was time for a live recording of renowned British entrepreneur Poppy Jamie’s podcast Happy Not Perfect. The show dives into the everlasting question what it is to be human and how we can ultimately thrive from the inside out. Be it mental health, physical health, or business guidance, Jamie always tries to get the most out of her guests and pass on precious life advice to her devoted retinue of listeners.

This episode’s guest was Sharmadean Reid, chief executive and founder of The Stack World, a networking platform for women that originally launched with a focus on the beauty industry as a new way to book services and economically empower independent beauty and wellness professionals. Though over time it evolved to cover a far wider range, branching into different areas that are compiled in a five-pillar model, namely: beauty, wellness, business, culture, and society.
