ROHMIR Autumn/Winter 2014/15 Collection
' My Kingdom for a Woman! '

'A woman's life can really be a succession of lives, each revolving around some emotionally compelling situation or challenge, and each marked off by some intense experience', Wallis, Duchess of Windsor.

The turbulent 1930's were marked by a risky environment which proved at the same time to be a sensational, romantic and revolutionary period for women. The Duchess of Windsor, an icon of her time, used fashion as a weapon which reflected her bold character. This legendary figure, who made the king of England Edward VIII abdicate so that he could claim her openly to be 'the woman I love' became a symbol for this emancipated modern woman. Her distinctive dress sense relied on clean lines which Rohmir will bring back to the fore, by creating a new seductive elegance with the classical 'Wallis blue', in addition to fine decorative details in a royal luxury style.

Rohmir, looking into the perfect combination of epochal excitement and feminine elegance, creates a luxurious rewind with a brand new Rohmir sense of accessible glamour. From the 1930's trends, Rohmir has tailored a royal harmony of wearable allure, fashioned from ultra-fitted effect of bias-cut, goddess style draping and body curve-emphasize tailoring, together with luxurious fabrics, such as the 'Rohmir signature' French tweeds, French laces, pure silks and leathers to create everyday glamour for modern legends.
