Winter doesn't have to be boring! Below you can find a selection of 5 fabulous coats that not only look very stylish, but will also keep you warm. Trendy patterns and bold colours will brighten up long winter days and won't allow you to disappear in the crowd.
USEFUL TIP: If you are wearing a statement coat, remember to keep the rest of your outfit simple. Choose your accessories carefully and opt for classic black or calm, neutral shades. Recommended colours for Fall/Winter 2015: red, pastel pink, camel, yellow, black combined with other colours. “Reinvent new combinations of what you already own. Improvise. Become more creative. Not because you have to, but because you want to. Evolution is the secret for the next step.” ― Karl Lagerfeld

We all love making lists. Whether it’s the weekly food shop or things to do on your day off - there is something very organised and efficient about setting yourself a good tick list. Well, fashion site Lyst, does exactly that, creating your own personal shopping experience.
The exciting website, www.lyst.co.uk allows you to shop for the latest trends from a variety of brands and stores, including everything from luxury designers Fendi and Stella McCartney to high street retailers Zara and Vans, and then create your own Lyst of items you’re lusting over. Browse through beautiful pieces from Rag & Bone, Michael Kors, Converse and Asos to name just a few, and add them to your own personalised ‘lysts,’ which are helpfully organised into different sections such as ‘wish list wardrobe,’ ‘gifts for me,’ and ‘gift lyst.’ Essentially, Lyst is a more ordered way to shop online, without any hassle.
As Christmas approaches, why not create your own Lyst on all things festive and fun for your winter wardrobe or how about the lovely, tan leather boots that are such a big thing this autumn. Group your favourite styles together and create whole looks by adding clothing, shoes, accessories and jewellery to find your perfect wish Lyst pieces in a variety of sizes and colours.
One of the biggest trends for autumn/winter 2015 is the ‘Ghillie’. You might not have heard of it, but you have definitely seen it before and you might possibly own a pair already. The ghillie is a type of shoe which laces up at the front, with no tongue originating from Scottish country dancing. Everyone from the Duke of Windsor, who was often seen sporting a pair of ghillies with argyle socks in the 1920’s to Naomi Campbell, who infamously wore purple wedge ghillies on the Vivienne Westwood catwalk where she took a tumble in 1993, have been seen wearing them. And on Lyst, you too can jump onto the band wagon and put a fashionable foot forward yourself, with current designers Isabel Marant and Aquazzura offering up some great styles.
Other great footwear available on the Lyst website are minimalist sneakers, functional flats, cosy boots and glamorous heels, which once added to your Lyst can be worked with other items you think will go nicely with your current wardrobe. It’s fun, free and very organised so start making your fashion shopping list today with Lyst.
Below are a couple of Lysts we put together on key Autumn fashion pieces and Halloween attire:

Chanel is one of the few fashion houses that have managed to create garments which have withstood the test of time.
We all know that it’s is often the little extra’s that makes all the difference and nothing adds an extra dose of style like a standout accessory.
This season’s accessories are no different and will instantly upgrade your outfit. Here are our four of my favourite trends for this season.
1. Pom Pom
Fluffy and bouncy a quirky addition to any look

Black fur bobble @ www.primark.com
2. Faux Fur
Faux fur is chic, practical and in demand and with a plush, stylish faux fur collar, you’ll never have to sacrifice fashion for the sake of warmth. This multitasking accessory can be worn as a luxuriously soft scarf or hat.

3. The Extra-Long Scarf
A long-length scarf will add instant trend to your look. Add sparkle to it with a standout brooch. Wear it tucked into a belt or loose around your neck.

4. The Bucket Bag
Destined to be autumn’s” IT” bag, the classic bucket bag gets a refined, minimalist update. An absolute essential for the girl on the go. I love black and white grid duffle bag from Primark a definite must to any handbag collection.

H&M are introducing 16 new denim styles made from recycled cotton from textiles collected in the Garment Collecting initiative in H&M stores. The aim is to reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry, by limiting waste that goes to landfill and saving on natural resources used in the production of fabric.
This initiative by H&M’s is to create a closed loop for fashion “Creating a closed loop for textiles, in which unwanted clothes can be recycled into new ones, will not only minimize textile waste, but also significantly reduce the need for virgin resources as well as other impacts fashion has on our planet, “says Karl-Johan Persson, CEO of H&M.
Since 2013, H&M customers worldwide have been able to bring unwanted clothes from any brand into its stores as part of its Garment Collecting Initiative. So far, over 14,000 tonnes have been collected globally.
Right now, H&M is able to use 20% recycled cotton from collected clothes, and is investing in new technology to increase this share without losing quality. H&M has a target to increase the number of garments made with at least 20% recycled fabric by 300% compared to 2014.
The new denim pieces, which will be available in-stores and online in September, are all made from recycled cotton and organic cotton, with three styles for women ranging from skinny to distressed ‘girlfriend’ jeans, plus a denim jacket, flared dungarees and a denim jumpsuit.
For men, there is a zip-up denim jacket, two distressed slim leg styles, and a pair of joggers in coated denim.
The kid’s pieces include a zip-up hoodie with cute animal ears, a stretch jeans sequined at the knee, and a street style hooded shirt, with distressed jeans.
