Euphemia-ann Sydney-Davies is a 2012 Graduate womenswear/ menswear Designer from the renowned Herriot Watt University Scotland. Since graduating she has gone on to launch her own High-fashion label SYDNEY-DAVIES which a unique and edgy mixture of Ready-To-Wear and Couture. A strong believer in originality, Euphemia is unafraid of doing something different and favours setting her own design over the mass produced culture, something that bears a strong presence in SYDNEY-DAVIES.

Originally from Sierra Leone, Euphemia escaped the brutal 9yr civil war and moved to the United Kingdom seeking refuge, where she has settled, spent most of her adult life, studied and nurtured her gift in design. She has grown immensely as a person and Designer, particularly in the last year as she has been fortunate enough to have completed a 4 month full-time internship with MCQ Alexander McQueen as assistant pattern cutter where she could hone her skills in the fine art of Draping, Pattern Cutting, Tailoring and the well-made garment. Creativity, impeccable Precision and Discipline, as well as Industry experience.

The main objective in her lifelong relationship with fashion is to continue learning and developing her identity as a person and designer, in a profession that constantly demands ingenuity and the skill to put creative ideas into practice. Her unconventional approach, bold imagination, and ambitious ideas with the determination, talent and skill to pull them off, and last but not least, her insatiable love and hunger for fashion is what will propel her into a successful career, turning her dreams into reality. She is highly driven and determined to excel and for SD to be nothing less of a global success.

'I am excited and very honoured to be a part of Fashions Finest at London Fashion Week. Working alongside other talented people and all the brilliant organisers working hard to put the show together giving SD an incredible launch platform'.

SYDNEY-DAVIES is you... in warrior mode!
