Since pop star Rihanna was named global ambassador and creative director of Puma.

We have waited with baited breath to see the outcome of this fashion collaboration. Finally the first image has been released of Rihanna modelling the new Puma collection she designed for Autumn/Winter 2015. The monochrome campaign image shops the singer posing in a pair of leggings and a crop top, complete with a puma cap and new Pulse XT trainers, while Rihanna pouts for the camera.

Bjørn Gulden, Puma's C.E.O, is a huge fan of the fashion icon, which was why he picked her to work with the famous sports brand. 'Her global profile, her charisma and individuality, her ambition – all these things make her a perfect ambassador for our brand,' he said in a statement last December. 'With a strong portfolio in football, running and motor sport, finding an inspiring partner for women's training was very important. Rihanna was a natural choice for us.'

This is not the first time Rihanna has tried her hand at designing. Her sell out collection for River Island was a huge success, consisting of skirts, dresses, tops and accessories. And with a seven figure sum reportedly Rihanna's Puma payment, who wouldn't refuse designing for such an exciting sports brand?
