Knee high, ankle boots or thigh high? Boots are big business this winter, with so many different styles available on the high street.

From dark browns to nappa leather black, printed or buckled, finding the perfect winter boot could not be easier with so many great options out there. We’ve compiled a little list of some of the best styles to get you started.

Gucci, Fendi and MaxMara all went hell for leather this season, with Gucci featuring some amazing snakeskin knee high boots in their winter 2015 collection. Take a leaf out of their book, and indulge in some serious animal print boots which will surely be the feature of any outfit. H&M have a fantastic pair with a thick block heel for only £29.99 while Kurt Geiger have an array of styles and interesting colours, in leopard and snake prints.

Wedges are also a fashion favourite. River Island have some great examples, with wedge heels, bulky buckle straps and soft suede fabrics, with prices starting as little as £25. Or if you want something a little more glamorous, try a sexy pair of thigh boots. Take a leaf out of Miranda Kerr and Kim Kardashian’s books and try something a bit more daring and cheeky, by opting for a style in leather or suede. Or gain inspiration from Dior’s fall 2015 collection which featured a variety of super tight patent calfskin boots, coming in every colour including pink, yellow and black.

Smart Chelsea boots are also a top favourite and a trend which will never go out of fashion. Style yours with ripped jeans and a leather jacket, or for the evening pair with a pretty floral dress and great accessories. For the cheapest option, head to Primark where they have Chelsea boots in both black and tan for only £8. Or if you feel like investing in a more luxurious pair, Asos have a great burgundy style for £102 or try Churches stylish leather boots which come in at £350.

Whether it’s a wedge heel or flat, thigh high or ankle length, make sure you stand out in your boots this winter.
