London fashion week has begun and New York is now over.

From Michael Kors, Rodarte and Marc Jacobs to Victoria Beckham, Altuzarra and Vera Wang, this was a fashion week packed full of great shows and amazing moments.

The week started with a much talked about Yeezy 3 presentation by Kanye West, staged at Madison Square Gardens. From then on it was business as usual with a host of designer showing off their latest fall 2016 collections. The Ralph Lauren show exuded Hollywood glamour, a country gentleman's sensibility and an air of 1930s excellence. Marc Jacobs used Ladyd Gaga as a sinister model during his show, which left models unrecognizable with the full hair and make up, bordering on Gothic Victoriana. Proenza Schouler went for minimal cool with large, loose harem pants, crisp jackets and black boots, while white biker jackets were decked with buttons - and that rabbit patchwork coat had everybody talking.

Michael Kors was another star attraction, with Blake Lively sitting front row. He gave us an autumnal mix of beige knitwear, feathered cropped trousers, fur coats and metallic mini dresses with 1920s style fringing. Kors gave us a little bit of everything from jeans to red carpet ready cocktail dresses. One designer who always brings the fun is Jeremy Scott, and his homage to the swinging 60s. From the latex mini skirts, colourful knee high boots and big Brigitte Bardot hair to the fishnet tights and musical references, it was psychedelic and extremely cool.

Vera Wang went for a fierce new look this season. Black suits came loose but stylish, long maxi skirts with thigh high splits added a touch of sex appeal while the gold metallic detailing was a nice bit of detail. It was real party at Diane von Furstenerg, which lasted almost an hour! Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Irina Shayk, Lily Aldridge and Karlie Kloss all posed for pictures before the show, in bright 70s outfits with plenty of boho chic and then literally danced the night away. Tommy Hilfiger opted for a collection of baby doll dresse in white and beige falling just above the knee while Alexander Wang was inspired by the art work of Barbra Kruger for his very punk show.

Carolina Herrera, Rag and Bone, Marchesa and Derek Lam were other stand out collections at NYFW. But who will be the shining stars of London Fashion Week?
