With a debut bespoke collection launched in an intimate setting over dinner at Claridge’s, kicking off the London Fashion Week schedule, this 10-look capsule takes a step back from the catwalk and looking at the design process from a refreshed perspective. Roberta Einer has further explored and developed her signature embellishment and textile innovation, focussing on hand made finishes and couture-like craftsmanship. Swarovski continue their long-standing relationship with Roberta Einer with crystal featuring heavily throughout the collection.
The collection highlights outstanding craftsmanship with 100% silk bases, hand dyed materials, and matching evening bags and jewellery to complete the looks, and footwear is kindly supported by Christian Louboutin continuing on from their catwalk collaboration for last season’s SS20 show.
Key silhouettes from the collection include oversized puff sleeves, corseting details and cut out shapes across hand knits. Roberta Einer continues to give her own twist on feminine tailoring introducing a boldly tailored trouser suit and fresh take on the traditional silhouette using crystal encrusted separates with upside down neckline. Working with Swarovski with hand embroidered details throughout the collection, this season’s showpiece – the “spider dress” is made up of over 30,000 Swarovski crystals applied individually by hand.
