In a world which may seem as if it is full of anger, frustration and the saturation of negative news, everyone is searching for their own piece of solace.

Agne Kuzmickaite chose to explore this feeling for her Autumn Winter 2020 collection by reflecting on the human need for celebration amidst the social, political and ecological issues that we face today.

“In order for the light to shine so brightly, the darkness must be present” - Francis Bacon

The collection is a whirlwind of playful patterns, bold silhouettes and contrasting textures. Pieces made from secondhand sportswear reimagined as feminine dresses and shoes punctuate the looks. Voluminous jumpers and dresses created with rainbow coloured feathers are a continuous Agne statement, bringing a fun celebratory vibe.

Completed with Agne’s signature butterfly print, which has been developed into a new monochromatic colourway for this collection. Across the world, the butterfly is a representation of endurance, change and hope - a fitting symbol for the themes that Agne’s designs explore this season.
