For A/W21, British brand YUZEFI presents their inaugural ready-to-wear collection, one that approaches a much-needed dress code refresh by defining a new mood and identity.
About The Collection
Offering a modern perspective on our daily staples while remaining sensitive to our mantra of buying better and consuming less. Essential garments are more comfortable yet remain special and sophisticated thanks to their considered and elevated details. The tailoring is gentle and comforting with immense versatility, offered in a light and seasonless fabrication and pallette. Versatility and multi-functionality, are key pillars of the brand’s handbag range and are translated into carefully placed ties and straps that are both decorative and offer a transformative aspect to their ready-to-wear.
The pallette is a fresh combination of classic hues of wine, beige and black uplifted with gentle olive and the vibrant iris. Sustainability has been at the core of the brand’s handbag range with a strong emphasis on the provenance of materials. This careful sourcing has informed the brand’s sourcing of their RTW materials too. The vegan leathers are certified recycled while the rest of the collection is made up of luxurious linen and wool blends sourced from dead-stock.
About The Brand
YUZEFI is the child of Naza Yousefi who started creating dresses in her early childhood in Iran. After completing her master in fashion design at Central St Martins in 2008, she built up her portfolio by first working with Christopher Kane and Richard Nicoll. A key piece in YUZEFI creations is leatherwork materialised in handbags with structured silhouettes and bold colours. Naza found her passion for leather and its physical properties when Sarah Richardson commissioned her bespoke leather harnesses for an editorial for i–D magazine. From this revealing experience, in 2016, Naza founded her accessory brand through which she explores the endless opportunities of design with her daring touch.

An equally considered approach has been taken for the distribution of the range, and the brand will be launching the collection with key global stockists such as Ssense, Harrods, Printemps, Ounass, Harvey Nichols Kuwait and Net-a-Porter China to name a few and online.
