Ph. Tim Walker for Barbour

Following the success of the Autumn/Winter 2024/25 capsule collection, Alexa Chung and Barbour have just released the second part of "The Edit by Alexa".

The latest "The Edit by Alexa" capsule collection for S/S25 proves that the saying "never change a winning team" is true for Alexa Chung and Barbour.

About "The Edit by Alexa" Spring/Summer 2025 Collection

Alexa Chung continues her role as the Creative Director and Designer for Barbour’s newest iteration of “The Edit by Alexa”. Collaborating closely with Barbour’s in-house design team again, this season’s capsule collection features outerwear, clothing and Wellington boots, drawing inspiration from Alexa’s personal experiences and her enduring affection for Barbour. With clear nods to Barbour’s heritage, this collaboration blends the brand’s classic elements with Alexa’s celebrated style.

Reflecting on the evolution of "The Edit by Alexa", Alexa comments, “I’m in love with the second collection I have designed for Barbour. I think the codes and language we have built together are now well established in that we create playful takes on Barbour’s heritage. My particular favourites in the collection are the bright yellow jacket and fire engine red raincoat. I really focused on colour and fun and I think that idea carried through to our camping trip-themed shoot, with the legendary Tim Walker. This collection brings me so much joy and I hope you like it as much as I do."

As the Designer and Creative Director once more, Alexa injects her personal style and preferences into every piece, bringing a lifelong history with Barbour to the fore. The latest capsule collection encompasses outerwear, clothing and footwear, and features showerproof jackets with tartan liners, bomber jackets with cord collars and knitwear crafted by Harleys of Scotland, accompanied by rubber footwear, including versatile slip-on clogs and wedged Wellington boots.

Tim Walker Captures "The Edit by Alexa" On Camera

Tim Walker, renowned for his imaginative and whimsical photography, has brought his unique vision to the campaign for "The Edit by Alexa." Drawing inspiration from the nostalgia of camping and the carefree spirit of festival style, Walker captures the essence of playful adventure and storytelling throughout the collection. His lens transports viewers to a magical world, blending the classic charm of Barbour’s heritage with the vibrant energy of contemporary living, perfectly mirroring Alexa’s vision for the collection.

“Alexa’s long-standing relationship with Barbour makes for an exciting and authentic collaboration every time. Whether it’s Alexa wearing us throughout her childhood or, of course, her iconic Glastonbury style, Barbour has always been a trusted companion. This new collection is a marriage of all that personal experience, rooted in Barbour’s classic heritage, with Alexa’s unique and eclectic timeless lens. We’re excited to be sharing this with our customers around the world.” - Paul Wilkinson, Group Commercial Director, Barbour
