The Top Knot
From super slicked back, to loose and dishevelled, the top knot is still a favourite for work, party or just hanging out.
Placement is key when creating a top knot, it should sit flat on the top of your head and not too far back on your head and the hair in the back must be completely smooth.
Once your hair is up in a ponytail backcomb the ponytail for fluffiness and then twist the hair around your elastic band and secure with hair pins. Use hairspray to hold it all in place.
Look Taller, short girls, wearing your hair in a top knot gives the impression that you are taller as it creates a vertical line and adds inches to your size.
Pair it with statement earrings
Change it up by placing it further forward with a side twist
