Born out of the Shear and Shine barbershop in Croydon, the company has ambitious plans to become the market leader within its niche.
Aaron Wallace, the ambitious entrepreneur behind the brand has always had an avid vision from when he first opened the door to his barbershop in March 2014.
“I always felt that black men were overlooked in this area and with male grooming becoming more and more important, I saw an opportunity to serve my community.
Through Shear and Shine Grooming, I want to provide everyday solutions to grooming problems that I know us men often face”
Afro-Caribbean skin and hair is notoriously known for having its own set of common problems that require different treatments to its European counterparts.
While there are limited solutions available in the market for black men, Aaron feels that too often there is a lack in diversity and choice. This is something he hopes to bring to the table.
“As black men we pride ourselves on looking and feeling good”
He is determined to become a market leader and has spent over a year researching and developing his range.
“I want Shear and Shine Grooming to be the first thing black men think of when it comes to looking good, when it comes to quality products and when it comes to excellent customer service.”
Shear and Shine Grooming Products are available on their website, the Shear and Shine barbershop and will soon become available in selected retailers in London.
They are offering everything from Shampoos and Conditioners to various Aftershaves and Body Oils.
