After starting out importing products from China, and selling them into local shops, at markets and online, he then went into construction, building a successful contractors, and by the age of 23, employed 24 people.
Along side growing his construction management business, Tee Jay became involved in The Princes Trust, who he raised £180,000 funding for, from a corporate fund in 2013.
Since 2013, Tee Jay has been been working alongside Biz Britain, as well as his own clients, coaching and consulting entrepreneurs at all stages of their business, as well as helping them raise investment and funding.
He has spoken at several prestigious events over the years, as well as written business advice and articles for several publications, judged panels and appeared in national press, magazines and television to discuss his ventures and to give advice.
After exiting his construction management business in 2016, Tee Jay decided to pursue a full time career in coaching and consultancy and now focuses on helping startups with planning, funding, , development and scaling their businesses.
