Caivo is a luxury new brand, specialising in handmade hair jewellery for special occasions like weddings, proms and even a day at the races. We use a variety of materials including fine crystals like Swarovski.
Caivo’s first piece started with the wedding of a Polish designer Katarzyna Rychter, who recently graduated from an Art University in Kalisz. She could not find the right jewellery for her hair. So Katarzyna together with Iwona Rychter designed and created the perfect piece for her special day. Later on the uniqueness and high quality of Caivo’s designs brought a lot of interest from brides to be in Poland and abroad.
Caivo’s products are designed and made in Poland. Although the company was set up in Nottingham, England by Timothy Novak who is a family member and now the managing director of the company.
The team in Poland is made up of Katarzyna Rychter the designer, and her mother in-law Iwona Rychter who has many years of experience with jewellery production and quality assessing. In England Iwona’s brother Timothy worked closely with the Creative Manager Kat Puchowska and Marie McLaughlin the Operation Manager to launch the website, social media and promote the brand. Kat Puchowska is a graduate in Fashion Photography at Nottingham Trent University, and has been able to draw on her own experience from being involved in the fashion industry and photography projects.
Along with the new jewellery collection of luxury tiaras and combs, Caivo offers bespoke designs at the “Just for you” section online for the customers who require something with that extra individuality to complement their special occasions.
Fashion jewellery designer with over 25 years of experience with PR and journalism background. Originally from Poland, now lives in London.
'Giebultowski' jewellery is made of countless ever moving pieces as well as unusually oversized and over decorated and full of striking contrasts of colours, shapes and textures. No other jewellery is also decorated with wire spikes.
'AlmostWhite' marks a departure from organic shapes and inspirations towards geometry and architecture. Large size pieces are colourless and made of hundreds of repeatable elements cut out of plastic milk bottles. Over twelve hundred plastic bottles were used to make this collection. Most of other components are also recycled from previous works.
