Brand new hard hitting drama Shuga: Love, Sex, Money comes to The Africa Channel (SKY 268). The ground breaking three-part series delves into the lives, loves and ambitions of a group of cool young students. Their bright lives and fabulous futures teeter on a knife edge due to their appetite for life's dangerous thrills. The drama unfolds through interlinking tales as the buzz of Friday night's love and sex, leave indelible marks on the main players. Shuga: Love, Sex, Money on Fridays from 9th March at 11pm.

Featuring a bright young cast of rising stars, this is the story of morning afters and the scars that people leave on each other following sweet departures.

The series was produced by MTV Networks Africa in association with PEPFAR and UNICEF and was a huge success in Kenya where 64% of young people were said to have tuned in. The gritty drama was applauded for its realistic treatment of issues like sex, relationships and HIV as each storyline promotes the importance of HIV testing, reducing stigma, condom use, gender inequity and the role of multiple concurrent partnerships in driving the HIV epidemic.
