The start-up, founded by William Adoasi, first launched November 2015 in London.
We begun the journey in designing our watches as we’ve always had the desire to produce stunning watches like those of old but at prices that don’t break the bank. Our goal as an organisation is simply to combine classic and beautiful design with social justice. Pairing minimalist concepts with stylish modernity, our watches are subtle yet slim sophisticated timepieces suited to everyone.
Purchasing a watch enables you to partner with their vision, directly influencing children’s lives for the better. With the products you buy, children are provided with two sets of a full school uniform, a bag and shoes to get them through the scholastic year - "Your Watch, Their Future".
William, who is also a Virgin Startup ambassador, is often vocal about his reasons behind launching the brand stating, "Statistics show that the higher the level of education, the lower the level of poverty. I wanted to create a way to empower children with the necessary resources needed for them to attend school."
Since launching in November 2015, Vitae London has sold in 26 countries, released two collections and has the backing of several influencers such as Richard Branson, Emeli Sande and Paloma Faith showing their support for the cause.
Both collections released, ‘Classic’ and ‘Walmer’ add a subtle, simple and sophisticated edge to your outfit. They aim to pair minimalistic designs with modern, and unique styles. Ranging from the classic design set in leather, to the newest range in tones of silver, rose gold and yellow gold. The product proves versatile for any occasion and any demographic.
With a constantly developing vision, the future of Vitae London is promising, and is sure to grow, as they release new innovative designs and impact more children's lives.
