New sustainable clothing brand, Isle of Green, teams up with children’s charity Barnardo’s.

Isle of Green Eco clothing brand, Isle of Green, will be supporting the UK’s leading children’s charity Barnardo’s, to help raise much needed funds to support their work with the UK’s most vulnerable children, young people and families.

Isle of Green will be donating 15% of every purchase made from their new ecom store, as part of their commitment to support the children’s charity over the next 12 months.

The newly launched brand, Isle of Green, is part of the Creative Apparel family, which has a long history in supplying clothing to the fashion and leisure sector. According to survey conducted in November 2020 by Cyber Till and Retail Gazette, 75% of UK shoppers are modifying their buying behaviour due to ethical concerns and 28% want to offer customers the chance to donate to charities.

Isle of Green CEO Phil Millar commented, ‘I have always wanted to support a charity and give back to society. We believe in supplying ethical affordable clothing and making a difference.  I love the work that Barnardo’s are doing and we want to support them.’ 

Paul Wright, head of trading at Barnardo’s said‘We’re really grateful to Isle of Green for their generous support, especially at a time when raising funds are absolutely vital for Barnardo’s. Every donation Isle of Green makes to our charity will help fund our work supporting vulnerable children across the UK, more important now than ever. Thank you’.

Isle of Green specialises in affordable sustainable leisure and everyday clothing for the whole family. All products are made from 100% organic or recycled plastic materials and have full traceability on the supply chain.

Isle of Green track the positive environmental impact of every one of their garments, including the water, emissions, pesticides and energy that have been saved by using organic and recycled fibres over conventional ones.

Products available from Isle of Green include T shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, kids and babywear, tote bags and face masks.

Suppliers to Isle of Green meet high manufacturing standards and comply to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Organic Content Standard (OCS), Oeko Tex 100. 

They are also vegan approved by Peta and are members of the Fairwear Foundation.
