PrettyLittleThing are entering the metaverse. The active and reactive brand introduces its newest model to the PLT family: she is so virtual to (almost) real.
PLT, The Metaverse And A Virtual Girl
The start of PrettyLittleThing’s journey into the metaverse is here. The brand launched the "career" of their first virtual model on the PLT website, but she is constantly evolving and will show a range of emotions to truly react with the PLT customers.
PrettyLittleThing Creative Director, Toni Hayden explained “we want to make our girl as relatable and real to our customers as possible. We will build her lifestyle based on our customers' interests, likes and dislikes. A true ambassador for the brand. She will have ways about her that will be unique to only her and we look forward to developing her capabilities over the coming months allowing our customers to learn a lot more about her and what’s to come as we enter into the Metaverse”.
PLT, as a reactive and young brand, have always listened to their customers' requests to provide them with innovative and progressive content. Customers' needs and expectations represent a positive field where to experiment with the latest technology, virtual reality first. The idea behind PLT's “virtual girl” is to bridge the gap between the metaverse and real life. Thanks to her, clients will be able to discover PrettyLittleThing products showcased by an empathetic figure.
This social brand wants to involve its audience so as to have an active role in the creation of this newest model: the first step will be a competition to give her a name. The mechanism is simple and fun: the entrant whose proposed name is chosen will also win the chance to be turned into another virtual model featured on site.
The future is here and it will be full of fashion and interaction. Find out more about PLT online.
