About ABVee Fashion By Racheal Adeleke

Abuovbo Racheal Adeleke, who prefers to be called 'Racheal Adeleke', is a professionally trained fashion designer, fashion instructor, and fashion business consultant. She is passionate about creating unique fashion pieces and inspiring a new generation of fashion designers. 

Racheal started sewing at her mother’s tailoring shop at a very young age and, as she grew up, her creative expression turned to designing and retailing clothes by starting ABVee fashion store in 2010, a ready-to-wear brand. 

She has a BSC in Mathematics, an MSC in International Business Management and a Certificate in Entrepreneur Management (CEM) from the Enterprise Developmental Center of the Pan Atlantic University (PAU). To further pursue her passion for fashion design, she moved to London to study many fashion courses, including Draping on the Stand at London College of Fashion. 

In 2014, Racheal noticed a gap for globally relevant fashion design training in Nigeria and launched Abvee Fashion Academy. Racheal’s goal in founding Abvee Fashion Academy was to create an environment, where students could learn about globally respected high fashion and master the skills necessary to succeed in fashion. Since its opening, Abvee’s mission has been to provide students with the technical foundation they need, preparing students with little or no experience to enter the fashion industry. She has successfully trained and helped over 1000 women scale through the ABVee Fashion Academy programme who are now fashion business owners.
