5 Autumn Accessory Trends to Have on Your Radar result

Autumn is just around the corner and we are thrilled to embrace all the fashion trends this season brings. While we may be sure that clothing pieces such as cashmere sweaters, biker jackets, and high-waisted jeans will be some of the most popular fashion pieces this autumn, we still need to know what kind of accessory will be the perfect, stylish addition to these clothing items. Therefore, in order to look classy and chic in the approaching season, we bring you insight into what the best accessory trends are and how to follow them.

Minimalist Accessory

Autumn is a season abundant in warm and deep colors; therefore, to create a contrast to this richness, minimalist accessories are suggested. You can opt for a pair of minimalist rose gold, stud earrings that you will pair with a burgundy-colored knit and high-waisted, olive trousers. Additionally, you can make your look even more stylish by combining contrasting accessories. For instance, get yourself one of those high-quality, elegant minimalist watches in a lighter color, such as off-white, and match the watch with minimalist leather or faux leather bags in deep tones, such as oxblood. This kind of color contrast expressed in minimalist accessories will truly add a gorgeous and luxurious dimension to any outfit, without making you look like you have tried too much.

Pearl Jewellery

This season, you can’t go wrong with pearls on a necklace, bracelet, or even a hair clip. For example, the combination of pearls and gold on a delicate necklace will go perfectly with any item in pink, green, or another shade from Pantone’s autumn/winter color palette. Furthermore, pearls will look beautiful on a deep green midi dress. You can complete a look such as this one with knee-high caramel suede boots and a leather jacket in the same color. If you are planning a romantic dinner at your favorite restaurant, an elegant black dress will look gracious and chic with a pair of pearl, chandelier earrings. To accentuate the beauty of these unique earrings, wear your hair tied in a sleek bun and go for a bold, deep red lip.

Bright Heels

A statement accessory that will elevate any outfit to a higher level. Many fashion brands, Victoria Beckham and Prada being just some of them, have included neon-colored high heels into their collections for the upcoming fall. A pair of bright heels will indeed turn many heads when you enter the room and in combination with light denim and nude sweaters, make you a true trendsetter. Moreover, you can combine bright pink or orange high heels with darker tones, and even match them with an all-black suit to get a chic business look.

Layered Necklaces

A trend that may not be completely new, but is still quite important for the fall fashion. We can say that the trend of layering necklaces has been popular during the summer and continues to do so in the autumn. You can mix metals as well as the length and thickness of your chains. Wear only two dainty necklaces or make a statement with a thin choker, one long, thin necklace, and two chains that are a bit chunkier.

Moreover, while you may have worn some of your favorite necklaces together with bikinis or maxi dresses during the summer, in the fall you can match them with monochromatic turtlenecks and pencil skirts or V-neck knits and mom jeans. A few layered gold and silver necklaces will look amazing when mixed with a knee-length slip dress worn over a simple, white tee. Complete this trendy, off-duty look with some suede, knee-high boots or a pair of white sneakers.

Chain-strap Bags

Purse, bucket bag, tote, or any other style that your bag of choice may be, it is certain that this fall you will want chain straps on it. A stylish way of upgrading even the simplest over-the-shoulder bags, chain straps are easily combined into daytime and nighttime looks. Wear a chain-strap purse with a sophisticated work outfit or opt for a biker jacket and a leather tote bag decorated with chain straps when heading off for a casual brunch. To make any nighttime look effortlessly chic, go for a classy and romantic chain box clutch.

In the end, think carefully and decide which of the mentioned accessory trends fit best into your fashion style. If you love all of them, wear them with your favorite looks for this season and even be bold and wear two or more of the on-trend accessories together.

Classy Ways to Accessorize Your Wedding Dress

Beautiful and Classy Ways to Accessorize Your Wedding Dress result

About to get married? Congratulations! There are probably plenty of things you have to do and tasks to take care of. Luckily, searching for the perfect wedding dress should be a fun thing to look forward to. Accessorizing your ideal gown can be even more exciting, but, in case you need some help with this, keep on reading.

Pick Your Veil Properly

If you want to have a veil to accompany your bridal look, it’s important to get the material that perfectly matches the color of your wedding dress. What’s more, keep in mind what you want to show on your wedding day; do you have a dress with plenty of intricate details at the back? If so, you want a light, see-through veil that won’t cover everything up. Furthermore, if your wedding dress already has plenty of things going on, you should go for a simpler veil. Finally, the length of the veil can make a difference, too. If you’re shorter, you might want to look into really long veils. On the other hand, taller brides might benefit more from a fingertip or elbow-length veil. Birdcage or bandeau short veils look great regardless of your height and are very popular for a more retro wedding style.

Match The Jewellery To Your Dress

If your wedding dress already has some beading and other detailed work in a certain colour, you want to match the base of your jewellery to it; so, gold lining with gold pieces, etc. In general, beautiful fine jewellery is your best option for a stylish and elegant bridal look. But the color of your dress will also dictate the metal you decide to go with. For instance, an ivory dress pairs best with gold jewellery. Pure white matches amazingly well with silver and platinum. Off-white diamond shades go great with rose gold, silver and pearls.

Be Careful Not To Go Overboard

Be careful not to go overboard result
Image from unsplash.com

Less is more, and even though you want to accessorize your wedding dress, you don’t want to go overboard and make the whole look too cluttered. Essentially, you don’t need to have it all – necklace, bracelet, earrings together with tiara, veil and maybe even existing details on the dress will just be too much. It’s important to create balance. If you have an embellished neckline, skip the necklace and focus on earrings instead. But if you will keep your hair down instead in an elegant updo, you won’t need statement earrings. Also, you should choose between a tiara or a veil; both of them at the same time can clash with each other. Alternatively, you might want to try a flower crown instead of tiara and veils, which works best with flowy and simpler dresses.

Jazz It All Up With Shoes

Jazz it all up with shoes result
Image from unsplash.com

Shoes are a very important part of your bridal look, especially if you’re wearing a shorter dress that will show them off. Unlike veils, shoes can pop – however, if you want to go traditional, match the white or ivory shade of your dress to the shoes. On the other hand, you can always go with a splash of colour, which is a really popular trend. What’s more, rhinestones and other embellishments can look especially endearing on bridal shoes, especially when matched to jewellery. Most importantly, consider your comfort. If you can’t stand heels and don’t know how to walk properly in them, you don’t need to buy them for the wedding either. There are plenty of elegant low-heel shoes and flats available too. Make sure to wear your wedding shoes around your home for at least a couple of weeks to break them in before your wedding.

For your big day, you should be happy and satisfied; furthermore, you should give yourself the luxury to look however you want as a bride. In that respect, the most important bridal trends and accessories are your own dreams and ideas.

Simply Radiant

Joanna Mitroi photography captures the elegance and radiance of designer Evelina Anglickaite’s latest collection.

Conjuring a feel of bonding and sisterhood, Joanna’s photographs allow us to glimpse the beauty and intricacy of the fabrics used in designer Evelina Anglickaite’s collection of clothing, and forces the viewer to take a closer look. The minimal make-up and hair styles also cast the viewer’s eye onto the complexity of the garments, and the idea that overwhelming beauty can be found, in what may, at first glance be called simplicity.

Shot on location at Fashions Finest SS20 collection, during London Fashion Week 14th September 2019, the designer uses beautiful linens, and natural silk to highlight the fusing of western ideas of beauty, radiance, majesty and grandness, and the Eastern concept of beauty that is natural radiance, austerity and simplicity.

Out Of the Light

Shot on location at Fashions Finest SS20 collection during London Fashion Week 14th September 2019, photographer Joanna Mitroi utilises the light and shadows cleverly with Tuncer Tonun’s collection, in order to conjure a feeling of suspense, mystique, and an almost unearthly beauty, along with a sense of unease as to what lurkes in the darkness.

The fabrics in the photographs appear rich and heavy, and the photographer seems to be encouraging the viewer to reach out and touch the garments. There is a regal feel to the style of clothing, coupled with the theme of nature, autumn and harvest time, enriched by the hair styles Lead by the David Rae Hair & his team, and the vibrant makeup conceptualised by Kim Able and applied by the Academy of Freelance Makeup artists.
