On the 24th of February designers, The Kemist and Hellavagirl were spotted at the Pro Hair Live Show in Manchester.

The designers were taking under the wing of Britain’s Top Designer head judge Bernard Connolly who is providing on-mentorship as part of his role.

Bernard said: “I connect with the director Deborah St Louis and her Fashions Finest team on a shared passion, which is to draw the spotlight onto innovative great designers that really deserve some attention. Those designers showcasing on Fashions Finest platforms are helped along with guidance and support by the platform and the judges of Britain’s Top Designer. Being a stylist and head judge I take my mentorship seriously and contribute where possible. I can assist in bringing additional visibility. Take Helen Woollams for example. After winning Britain’s Top Designer (Season 4) she was scouted for one of the episodes on The Apprentice. She, like this seasons winner Tuncer Tonun both, appeared on LondonLive TV receiving regional, national and international press attention. This is a direct result of Fashions Finest and their team. I mean the advertising value of it is not something new designers are able to afford easily, if at all! The Kemist wasn’t part of the competition but showcased on the Fashions Finest runway this season. Each season some incredible talent come to us and we are happy to support.”

HairPro Live end is a trade event for hair professionals attracting the best hair stylists and brands and ends today Monday the 25th of February. For designers looking to showcase SS20 this September or interested in taking part in the Britain’s Top Designer Award AW20
